Aside from sacrificing sleep, most of it comes down to discipline and finishing the content ahead of the cohort to give yourself ample time to complete lots of practice exams. Me, and many of my peers were completing subjects around 2-3 months ahead to begin practice exams earlier.

physics is a medium load of content and easy maths, so as long as you have your head around the explanation questions, it’s quite easy to score well in, provided you do an ample amount of practice exams. as for lote, i’d recommend you spend more time on latin than physics, as from what i understand it’s an extremely demanding subject and requires lots of practice. once again, do lots of practice exams. i’m not sure how valid my advice is because i did chinese, which had an oral component, but i spent majority of my time on that, instead of the written exam.

For me personally, I was looking towards 6+ hours a day outside of school. I know many people who scored similarly however doing more like 3-4 hours a day.

​@@ThomasXiao respect brother, your hard work will pay off but also remember to balance life and live, often youth is best yrs sacrificed for future when old and can't enjoy as much. do some looksmaxxing, mewing, chewing, gym get shredded like zyzz brah n get girls. avoid seed oils, eat eggs, sunlight, zinc, magnesium for testosterone. can try study smarter with stuff like memory palace, active recall, pomodoro. good luck boss look forward to it

The biggest tips for English I reckon are to read the texts ahead of your class, develop your own understanding of the texts, have a solid structure for aa, and to learn exam pace well (3 hours 3 essays is very hard to regulate even for good students). when it comes to exam prep for english, it’s not necessarily good to do lots of practice exams. i did maybe 3 sets in total for english, which was significantly less than all my other subjects. this is because i spent most of my english prep time doing timed practice paragraphs, rather than whole essays at a time. for your sciences (chem and phys), the content itself isn’t hard - especially for physics. what’s important is knowing the applications of the information you’ve learnt. leave ample time to do practice exams as here, more full exam practice will reward you quite well. i can’t give you specific help for further since i didn’t do it, but i assume it’s similar to any math. work ahead of your class, and leave ideally 3 months before exam day to do practice exams. for all your stem subjects, take note of where you’re making mistakes when doing practice exams, and collate it into a spreadsheet. this way you’re aware of where you need to work on the most.

Thank you! For text response, make sure to develop your own understanding of the texts, and get creative in your analysis. Don’t rely on sources like Litcharts or Sparknotes. You can use ChatGPT to do analysis, it’s a game changer. For argument analysis, the most important part is speed and accuracy. Use reading time efficiently to lock in the arguments and determine your points of analysis. Use concise language, your essays don’t have to be long. This is just some of the things from the top of my head.

Don’t worry, there’s always a way to make things work out if you’re strong willed enough . Keep your head up :)

The ATAR is definitely not an indicator of intellect. I know many people who didn't even get an ATAR and have become business owners. Everyone has potential to succeed in life, they just need to find out where to utilise it :)
