Another great upgrade are the cartrimhome “auto” window switches. Make your power windows one touch up and down. 👌🏻

No worries. Here's another werid question for ya though... ever thought to cut a hole to access the cabin from the bed of the truck? I removed all the passenger seats from my tacoma and would like to do something like this if it doesn't cause structural issues. Saw someone do this to install a subwoofer but I want the hole to be there like a little trap door or something. Always loved the trucks I've seen that fold down doors to extend the bed into the cabin of the truck

Have you ever thought of adding starlink to your overlanding rig? Might not be worth the cost if you don't spend many nights in the back of your truck but thought I'd ask if it ever crossed your mind.

I think it's a little over 100 per month for internet and like 500 for the setup. I saw another guy on yt put starlink setup in his f150

The offroam mount you show here is for the gen 2.5, wont work for the pre 2012s I don't think. They apparently have mounts for the older tacos, but aren't currently available.

Does the wireless charger come with the trim pieces around it? The link you posted just shows the pad and no trim to fill the cubby space. Thanks!

You might have missed it but with the link I wrote they don’t make the exact wireless charger anymore but if your up for a DIY project then something like the item I linked might be a good option.

The Baja TX model just came that way. I do not know why Toyota stopped offering that, it’s great!

I have asked Toyota for vinyl flooring with no response. I currently have an F150 with vinyl and I never want carpet, except the best trucks in the world are Toyota. I have had many and all my family has Toyota. My next truck will be a Toyota. Just wish i could get the vinyl flooring in it.

Am I missing something? You said the six month review on the AuCar unit was out, but I don't see it.

When I recorded this video I had already filmed the review and planned on releasing that one first but I ended up having some more issues with the AUCar unit since the video and have been working with AUCar to resolve. Significant enough that I didn’t want to leave it out of the 6 month review. So I’ll have to either clip that stuff in after I finish working with AUCar or re film the whole review again.

I was contact with Aucar via whatsapp and they made it sound like the update on the headunit was only a software update from android 9 to android 11. If it's only software update, and not a hardware update, that means you should also be getting the update for your headunit too, correct?

So this is one of the things I will be including in the update video. They informed me that they are coming out with a new unit (hardware as well). They said they will be sending it out to me this summer.
