What he's neglecting to tell you is that in Italy, most field shooting is walked up not driven, shooting over pointers and setter dogs in the hills and mountains. Hence why alot of Italian gun manufacturers make a light gun, because you are carrying it around all day, hence the need for a light weapon, has never really caught on here because most of our field shooting is driven, we don't carry the gun.

I live in Texas and we do a lot of walking in the fields especially hunting quail and jumping up ducks. I was killing a lot of ducks with just 2 3/4 steel shot #4, always comes down to being a good shot with the shotgun that fits you. This beretta gold is perfect for me. I get tired of walking the field with my old beretta 12 ga 8lbs gun. I just bought the a400 ultralight and love it’s weight and recoil.

Aluminum receiver with a steel insert in the faceplate and with Browning a full width hinge pin of steel. My Browning Feather 12 gauge over under shotgun weighs just 6 pounds and 7 ounces with 26 inch long barrels. Love my 12 gauge 725 Feather shotgun.

Agreed, don’t need a heavy 12 ga and the recoil is still light enough

Thanks for your opinion on this gun but I do get the feeling that as you don't like it it's no good - for me its a perfect weight. I have shot this gun for many years always at Game using RC S4 30grm 6 cartridges and heavier loads on trips to Wales shooting the high stuff. Yes it probably kicks a bit more than a heavy gun but I don't want a heavy gun in fact I like to think that the kick means you're sending something meaningful up there! It's a gun that will suit some and not others, if you're tall and carrying a bit of weight probably not but for me its great.

I was trying to see the amount of recoil from the shotgun. It looked lite enough, plus 28 gram is good enough to kill game anyways. The better I shoot especially with this lite gun because I can handle it better. I just bought the beretta ultra lite a400 semi auto and it shoots extremely smooth without any recoil, it is a fantastic shotgun!! I’m 70 yrs old, 200 lbs and I find carrying it around n shooting it is fantastic!!!! I live in texas and am looking for this shotgun your shooting with now. I’m sure the recoil is smooth too!!

I'm a 15 stone [200 lbs/95kgs] man and the Ultra Lite is a super gun, looks a million, and I have no recoil problems. Is Mr Florent right?

Why would you shoot lightspeed in it they are punchy why not go 21gr or soft 24

Could you review the Ultraleggero as a light weight gun? I picked one up from GMK at Beretta world this year and couldn't believe how light it was compared to my SV10!

Hello and congratulations for your channel!!I'm owner of a beretta 682gold e 18-6 polychoke and I will like to have your opinion about which chokes are considered best for general hunting for medium-long range shooting. I'm using 35-36 grams cartridges and I have been told that it gives really dense patterns. Thank you very much!!

I would imagine it would be nice to shoot with some soft 21g something like comp x. They even make a 6lb greener comfortable in the shoulder

I've got a light Yildiz about six and a half pounds ,l use it for rough walk up shooting,ie walk up rabbit 🐰 shooting in the Dales These more to life then clay shooting,

At least you can shoot 42 grams BB game loads in them. The issue is they only take 70mm cartridges so you can't shoot the 76mm 56gram heavy loads in them.

No it won´t. I suggest You contact a good instructor and get advice regarding choice of gun and gunfit. Sadly this video contains very little usefull advice.

So a real man wants to lug around a 10 pound gun with 32 inch barrels and only kids, girls and leprechauns want a light gun? Also, 24 grams and 32 grams would have been a more useful comparison. I think even for regular shooters, shooting 24 gram cartridges, this could be a very agreeable gun to shoot. Not everybody wants to win competitions or shoot a 100 plus cartridges a day.

Lets say I want a new beretta but the gun won't fit for any given reason. Should I move on and try another brand? Or add padding to the comb or a butt pad or whatever. Adding a butt pad changes the angle between the heel and toe and throws off the mounting. Or get a professional fitting. From what I see at my gun club over and under shotguns are difficult to fit to almost every one. What are my options for getting a gun that is a very good fit? Thanks

Go to Greg Morris, gun fits like a glove. Cheaper than an adjustable stock.

David you must be psychic ! I am looking for a 12g for my daughter to step up from her Beretta SPS 20g which weighs 6lb 6oz. I wonder whether this would do the job. Only slightly heavier but she already uses 24g carts. What is the LOP ?
