Linklight returns to the workshop for Rivals of Aether which gives you access to custom new characters or mods! In this video I check out Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is what Link should have been in Smash Ultimate. This Link uses the sheikah slate and all the sheikah runes in such fun and creative ways. This mod was made by Muno so it's quality doesn't surprise me.

Goku's transformation with pink/red hair is SSJG (Super Sayian God). Basically, Goku's transformations go like this: Base => Kaio-ken (technically, kaio-ken is able to stack infinitely and on any transformation) => SSJ => SSJ2 => SSJ3 => SSJ4/SSJG => SSJB (Super Sayian Blue, a combination of SSJG and SSJ, yellow + pink = blue?) and SSJBx20Kaio-ken (a combination of Super Sayian Blue and Kaio-ken). Goku also have UI and MUI (Ultra Instinct and Mastered Ultra Instinct), but that's another story

You should do a vid where you pit this character against speedrunner link since they're both from Breath of the Wild, and have similar abilities. I think it'd be an interesting video.

Really cool that you ended up playing on two stages (Greenwood Town and Stardust Speedway) I've made the music arrangements for! It's kinda wild to end up in a Linklight video in some capacity. Also! Goku can transform into different forms with button combinations when using DSpecial: SSJ, SSJ3, God, SSGod and UI (as always, SSJ2 done dirty). It's all cosmetic and all forms play exactly the same but it's pretty cool.

This mod made me finally decide to get Rivals and, man, this absolutely should've been Link in Ultimate. His playstyle is the perfect mix of Distance Demon and Trap, two of my favorite play styles. I really love also how his FSmash and UpAir are pretty much just Byleth's, my main in Ultimate. Shit the animation for the FSmash is ripped directly from Byleth

Ok the link is fine, the sprite work is great and so is the coding. But oh my god that moveset is absolute garbage. They stray from the source material waaaaaaaaaay too much. Just the fact you shoot spears from your bow is really fucking stupid. It's also super lame that all the runes revolve around bombs. This whole moveset is just really a letdown.
