It's just something bout when that casket lowers into the ground. You can be in disbelief the whole funeral but soon as that casket lowers, that's when the reality punches you in the face.

Just went through this very same thing a month ago. My lady had been battling kidney disease the majority of her adult life. She fought so hard and valiantly to stay here, but obviously God needed her more than me. She was truly a walking angel loved by EVERYONE who encountered her. She was put on this earth to touch hearts, and she grabbed mine and loved it and held on to it so tight, and I did the same with her. There will never be another like her on this earth, and I'm thankful I had the honor to be in such a beautiful, magnetic, and majestic presence. Beautiful outside and inside....God I miss her and love her so much.....

Regardless of what Harper did to Lance by sleeping with Mia in what was a payback plan Mia executed without realizing the brutal consequences in the end Harper showed that Lance's friendship was extremely important to him with this human act, Lance finally gave himself permission to get rid of his tough guy throw everything at me and I'll handle it with a stone cold heart and mourn the death of the woman he loves who is also the mother of his children and Harper being there for him and comforting him when nobody but Harper himself witnessed him breaking down.

+Aldo Zanoletti No, Mia knew what would happen. And it's Lance's fault that Mia slept with Harper anyway because Lance was cheating on Mia with different women, which might play a factor in the next sequel in The Best Man franchise

I did the same thing at my mother’s funeral and I was 6 months pregnant with my last son , she died five days after my 23rd birthday. I was okay up until the end of the funeral when we had to put the little white sheet over her face so they can close her casket for the very last time I completely broke down and went into pre- term labor from being so emotional.

Of course this scene tears me up inside you know I wish I had friends like this I have traveled all over the states I'm bout to head to Jamaica hoping to connect with people who are genuine. My tears are flowing from the pain of not knowing and for the pain that I'll never know who my real friends are. This hurts me more than anything else I mean to be in this world as long as I have and I don't know who my friends are this is tragic this almost made me want to scream and yet deep inside I'm empty I don't know what to do but this scene reminds me of how much I don't have how much I wish I had.

Now that's a true bond these two share. He didn't even have to see his face to know he was falling apart, that he needed someone. One of my dad's childhood friends did something like this for me the day we laid my grandma to rest. I'd been fine through her funeral, and I'd cried so much at the hospital. But when it came to seeing that casket in the ground I couldn't look because I knew it meant she was gone. But having my Dads friend hug me, let me cry..it helped immensely.
