Great video as always! Because this is not an etched reticle there is no way to add wind holds or any other features besides on the crosshairs them selves, on the etched reticles we can’t ditch the horse shoe because those optics aren’t as bright and need a bold etched aiming point, adding the red dot bright dot to those etched reticles would bring up the price significantly! Hope this makes sense, love the videos and especially the reticle footage, great job! -Dimitri

Doesn't sig sauer tango6 with hell fire reticle utilize the fiber optic technology with acss. Any plans on a plx nova or perhaps even something like a diamond line of scopes

I haven't picked up a Nova yet but I plan too. I still like the horseshoe/chevron on my FFP GLx. I like the infinitely fine point. On second focal plan LPVOs I think the single center dot point is the way to go. I own 2 of PA's Gen III Slx 1-6x SFP LPVOs and the horseshoe obscures a lot of the center image. Great review as always, John.

Great review! Just ordered the slx 1-6 Nova. Regarding that "sewing machine" upper, what are the distinctive parts that help it run this way? BCG, buffer, trigger, gas block? Considering upgrades to mine. Thanks again!

i just got the aurora version of this optic and it's been great so far. wish i had the nova too just so i could compare the two side by side but owell. the chevron is still great i personally like it although it's daylight visible def not daylight bright. idk if it can be though, it is etched and pretty big retical. either way I recommend.

Literally as I am searching for this optic, you released it an hour ago. *One thing I wanted to comment on your PC in the background*: You have GPU in bottom PCIE slot, in most cases bottom or 2nd slot is slower than 1st (top) slot for GPUs. Most of the time 2nd slot will have to go through PCI chipset (that chip that is passively cooled on the right of the motherboard), and only then go through CPU. Compared to first slot on motherboard that goes directly through CPU. Same as putting NVME is top slot will allow it to go through CPU and not PCI chip first. CPU directly will have less delay in ms if you play first person shooters, and will gain you probably 3-5% more fps.

I wish there was a review for the Nova 1-6 special purchase. I was able to snag one of those but have not been able to compare to a normal OEM nova I think the special purchase came with Philippines/Japanese glass. Not Chinese

@narutobroken it's great! Good light transmission and good simple reticle. Only thing I don't like is the turrets. Tracks weel on holds zero but your better off doing holdovers not spinning turrets

they actually have an addon battery cap that has autolive. I am not sure when it will be out but it will fix that issue.

Primary arms had the glx on sale for $400 at the time making them direct competitors. I went a different route, found a good deal on a vudu 1-6, so we’ll see how I like it when it gets here. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate the content on both channels. Peace off

ummmm I beat the crap out of my NOVA and it has ran perfectly still, never missed a beat. Its !00% with the price and honestly 90% of what a Vortex RAZOR 1-6 is , lets be honest, I have them both. The glass is just about as clear as the VIPER PST gen 2 1-6 is.
