At first, I find Carbon really hard to finish. Then after being adult, finished it in just 7 hour, with 2/3 time using stock car.

Man drifting in this version is absolutely brutal. I had to increase the drifting multiplier to 50x and the hitbox threshold to 10x more than the usual amount just to finish some races 😂.

Not sure if this would count as a speedrun strat, but in the canyon 1v1s, you can stop right before the finish line and trigger the too close counter and win instantly because the ai stops close from the finish line

Carbon is actually my favorite nfs game, the jogability is soooooo good, i love the tracks and the customization is so dense. Its just so sad you can finish the game in like 4 hours

Really it is one of the best mods. Sometimes this mod makes the carbon better than most wanted in terms of contents, but u kinda get bored with only races and cops were out of the story

When i was a kid i had 2 main games that were racing games, Most Wanted 05 and Carbon both on the PS2, before i had Carbon i played Most Wanted 05 religiously, like i woke up on a free day, i played from 7/8 in the morning, to 10/11 in the night, beating the game every time i started again, when i got Carbon i love it for 2 reasons, i loved the night mode, i loved the cars, the different races, the customization, even though Carbon is an unfinished game, i played the hell out of it. Years later i found out why i loved Carbon so much, to me it was like Underground 2 but better, why? Because my PS2 disc for Underground 2 got scratched from the PS2 my mom accidentally caused to fall from the place it was and slightly break, so Underground 2 is that one game i never managed to finish from my childhood, i might get it at some point to finish it properly on PC, i am planning on replaying Most Wanted 05 and Carbon modded to improve the original experience. And to Kuru's question to with M3 sounds better between Most Wanted 05 and Carbon, i prefer the Carbon sound, it's the same sound but with slight improvements in my opinion.

i got carbon right after release as a gift, before that i played hot pursuit 2 on pc and most wanted on ps2. i was sooo sad when i realised that i need a dvd drive in my shitty pc to run it which was like buying game 2nd time with release price back then

I have a problem and hopefully someone has some help for me. I downloaded, installed and played the mod. So far so good: But in the middle of the career the game "resets". This only happens after a fresh game start.. but it resets not completely.. my cars and my cash remains the same but the races are ALL reset.. and after the reset i can see ALL races, despite the career progression! it happened twice now and it's annoying as fuck. Has somebody the same problem and a solution for this?

There's one thing I've learned in most wanted and carbon and that's that Ute's suck

imo i beat the game in the battle royale mod and i actually HATED the change of handling model depending on what car you wanted to drive in the carreer, making the jdm cars feel like they have 50hp and 0 grip and muscle cars even worse at handling, leaving you with only euro/exotic as an option to regular racing, which to people that aren't into those kinds of cars (i'm into euros, but not supercars) make it seem like a much smaller car selection

Those road blocks are so annoying might as well add cement barrier in the middle of roads those police vehicles are way to heavy.
