I separated all my cutters into holidays, etc., put them in gallon plastic bags, and labeled the bags. So much easier. Hi from Oregon.

I'm so glad somebody has more cookie cutters than I do.....🤷‍♀️😂 Renea a sugar cookie hack that a lady gave me in a Facebook group is to get two square not round dowel rods in the size you prefer your sugar cookies to be and roll your dough between them with your rolling pin on the dowel rods. Your sugar cookies will be the same thickness every time. I use it every time I make them and it saves a lot of aggravation.

FYI while you are going through the cookie cutters if you would mark a plastic bag with the season on it, then add those seasons to the bag and then you can add that bag to your box. Then when it comes time to use the cutters just pull the bag. Be a fun project to do with your grandchildren. Also I made your sandwich bread, DELICIOUS! Kept one out and froze one. I was a little leery of freezing it, but I wrapped it well. Took it out yesterday and let in thaw and I’m telling you it was like it was bake that day. Love it. Thanks for your channel love watching. You’re a very good teacher.

O my I was just thinking I need to find a butter cookie recipe and just didn’t feel like going on a search. And along comes Rene to save the day , Thank you so much I made them today ( double batch) I don’t know how you do it, you make it look easy. I wanted to fling the dough out the door🙂 I’m giving myself grace since I’ve never really made them before. They were delicious, my granddaughter loved them.

A couple of neat things i do now is use thickness guides on my rolling pin and if the dough gets sticky use powdered sugar instead of flour. 😊

John usually develops his own recipes. I think I have the best recipe for sugar cookies. They are thin and crispy always and have both butter and oil. I don’t think they would make good cutouts, but I don’t care. They taste better.

Yummy recipes 😋. Thanks ever so much for posting the recipe for us too. I love watching John over at Preppy Kitchen. He goes into such detail and it wonderful to hear. I never understood why to use unsalted butter in a recipe then add the salt that is requested later in the recipe. I just use salted butter and don't add the salt that is requested later in the recipe. Don't notice a difference. Weird.

Have you ever rolled your dough thru pasta machine, so much easier.I use my hand crank for pasta, pierogis, raviolis, and all rolled cookies.

Hey Renee and Mr.Wayna!!! Tomorrow I'm making this Chocolate banana walnut bread! ✅️ 10 cups flour 1 cup cocoa powder 5 tsp baking soda 4 cups white sugar 2 1/2 cups oil 10 eggs 18 bananas Walnuts ( measure with your heart) 350 degrees for an hour Makes 7 loaves

Dear Friend, you really should use large baggies, put all your seasonal cutters that go together in them, write on each bag with a sharpie and you won’t have to dig!!🤣🤣 ….💕🙏🙏 Also, if you lay all your cutters out on your dough, ou can fit them better together and not have a lot of extra dough to re-roll
