I currently use an aluminum baking sheet (at least I assume it's aluminum) from epicure. If I line it with a silicone baking sheet or parchment paper, will the aluminum still go into my food?

Growing up in a Portuguese family we always used clay or glass to cook in the oven or bake.

M.A.V. Yes we have a Breville Espresso machine. It’s the barista express model - about 7 years old and my hubby uses it every day so it’s in good shape!

Aly Olsen hi! Cast iron pots are made of iron and other trace minerals and stoneware is made of clay.

Aly Olsen well it it depends on the brand and what other chemicals they use but I think they are equal. There are a lot of opinions on cookware but once you start digging into it you’ll feel like nothing is perfect but there are certainly better options like the ones I mentioned. Hope that helps!

Hoykoy24 I used to have one but I gave it away cause I never used one. If you can find one that isn’t all plastic and covered in a non-stick coating on the inside then go for it! I prefer roasting and baking though from a flavour perspective ☺️
