@skeletorex you are not alone! I absolutely loved Chris Webber as a player, I looked up to him big time growing up! I wore his jersey to school once a week. His Sacramento jersey! I can still name the starting five to this day. I think the NBA kind of fell apart after about 04 maybe 06. After that I lost interest.

The most underrated player in nba history. People don't realize that we hardly ever got to see the real Chris Webber in the NBA due to injuries. He completely changed his game to more of a finesse player but before then he was like baby Shaq. Just dominant in the paint

You’re correct in that he changed his game to more of a finesse player. Which is puzzling because he was the quickest jumper as far as reaching peak height in his jump at his weight that I’ve ever seen. He should have stayed down low under the basket on offense scoring points there. When he started trying to play like a guard I thought it was the dumbest thing I’ve seen an nba player do. Amare Stoudemere style of play should have been his approach.

@@Wyndamn Knee injury to Webber in playoffs vs the Mavs. Webber was never the same and neither were the The Kings. Opportunities can't be taken for granted

If Webber would have stayed had a chance to play with Tim Hardaway along with Chris Mullin and Latrell Sprewell. That was a team for the ages. Webber is my favorite player, if he would have not been traded by Nelson, that team with him were world beaters

Should have already been in the Hall of Fame. Power with a shooters touch and high basketball IQ. A joy to watch, wish he could have got a ring.
