@Fur Q Funny how the literal rise of American fascism has affected people's sense of humour, isn't it? Satire is about mocking those in power, and currently Trump and Brexit-supporters are in power.

He rarely laughs at other comedians’ jokes, I’ve been infuriated by this for years! He’s much more likely to say something to derail or mock someone else’s jokes. Thanks for being the first to notice it too.

There is something about Paul Merton swearing, I find weirdly hilarious and satisfying. Merton is hands down one of the best people in HIGNFY history.

That series Paul Merton wasn’t part of really reset the show, when Paul returned Ian was far more able to laugh at himself and has a better relationship with Paul.
