Mr. Gaffigan is very talented. Besides making you laugh, to me, a good comedian also makes us question things we've always taken for granted about in life, like the masseuse bit. Also, Mr. Gaffigan's voice changes are what really set him apart from other comedians.

jim gaffigan has been my favorite comedian for like 6 years. i’ve listened to all of his specials probably five times each (barring the more recent ones). i can hear the same bit a hundred times and still laugh out loud.

I used to give my husband a massage almost every night. He actually started to feel guilty about it and I told him not to because it had become part of our nightly routine. He had terrible back problems and he couldn’t sleep without some kind of pain relief. Medication only helped so much. I lost him to cancer 5 years ago and I’m so glad that I did what was in my power to help him even a little bit.

@@sparkyspark964 but you did what you could. The human touch can heal the spirit and give comfort when nothing else can. Sometimes what we consider small things are everything to someone else. When he needed you most you were there. Your words of reassurance were important to him, too. I'm a woman of faith and I see your actions and attitude toward your husband as saintly things.

Bless you. My husband gives me a massage every morning. We have had some troubles in our 34 year marriage, and this is one of the things that has held it together. I used to have horrible pains in my back before having a hysterectomy, but he has continued the massages. I really really appreciate him for this. More than I can say. I bet your hubby felt the same. ❤

My Romanian rescue dog had been asleep all through this but when you spoke about your dog she got up, climbed into my lap and put her paws on my chest, staring into my soul!! I SWEAR she understands English!! (Not bad for a Romanian dog!!🏆)

I did the DNA thing too.. 63% Irish, 31% Scottish, 6% Nordic! The only real surprise is not a DROP of English in me! (2 generations born here) I can officially stop feeling ANY guilt for any of England’s Empirical atrocities 👍🤣 Tracked us back to early 1700s in Ireland, absolutely no-one interesting. Boo! (Not managed to find the Scots link yet, reckon a load of my Scottish rellies must have moved to Ireland in the 1600s. ) Fun chatting to relations now all over the World though. 2nd/3rd cousins in France, Dublin, Aus and US have all invited me over for holidays 👍👍

… let’s see… he is on the same spiritual journey as I have been on since 1. I was 9 years old, 2. Forcibly raised Roman Catholic due to the “Offspring of Mixed Marriage Religious Upbringing “ Clause A, Subsection I . 3:12, Luke 12:8-17.5 or be marked by the Original Sin on your soul… and an earthly existence in the Gardens of Purgatory…. For laughing in church (“sniggering”) 3. Having an Irish dad who died when I was young, but endowed me with his hysterical perspective of all things life, constant mirth, and semi control over outbursts of laughter at inappropriate moments… especially funerals! Love this guy and his wife’s gifts. Thanks for lifting my soul when challenges are overflowing the moat!

Have you actually seen his specials or are you just watching clips? He's not a "clean" comedian, by any means. His act just doesn't RELY on curse words, even though he uses them quite often. He says "whore" and other curse words in just this video. lol
