The Best Oven Baked Pork Chops and Rice EVER!!! | Baked Pork Chops Recipe

The rice in this recipe is very delicious! It's buttery and garlicky, tender but not mushy. The secret tip is to briefly bake onion with garlic and butter before adding the rice, liquids and the pork chops- it adds a great flavor base!
Ingredients
4 thick cut pork chops
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp paprika onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning
1 cup tomatoes
1 cup celery
1 cup red onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 cup rice
2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp. chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp celery salt

Thank you for this! I always enjoy your content. I made this (w/ a few substitutions) & my hubby & kids LOVED it. So tender & flavorful. We all devoured it and were happy & full. Just made these pork chops tonight and my wife doesn’t normally eat pork chops and she said she’d eat a whole plate! This is incredible and incredibly easy. I did have to cook it longer in the oven for the rice and the pork to get to temp, but it’s got so much flavor and definitely going into the rotation! Also I made it for meal prep and I hope my coworkers get jealous

Thank you for the recipe, I threw out the old pork chop and rice recipe- yours is the new family favorite! I followed the directions but had some confusion about the baking part. I browned the chops the put them in the oven for 15 min. Followed all the other directions, came out great!!

Omg. My mom would use cream of onion n chicken. Use wild and rice pilaf and pork chops. The combination pork fat and soup would create a gravy and coat the rice. It was a top favorite in our house growing up

I just made this for my teenage boys and they absolutely loved it! It was as good as it looked when you made it. Also, I thought I was going to get busted for adding too many vegetables, but when it when it came out of the oven, I realized I could have added more. My youngest will pick all the vegetables out of stuff but he just chowed down! Thank you, I can't wait to try more of your recipes! Mine were getting so stale!
