One detail you forgot to mention is the closed dark green container within the Louisville roadblock permiter hidden in plain sight. It is closer towards the main road further left of the gazebo. Inside it there will be tons more weapons and ammo. You can break it down with a sledgehammer or an axe to access all the loot!

Don't forget the Distribution Center. If you take the western most road that runs along the gated houses on the river, follow it north and take its turn going east, then take the first left, the second building on the right is just a huge building full of shelves upon shelves of stuff. 180 total double wide shelves, with another 40 crates/boxes or so. It's right next to the maps/books loot location at 1:58

Tip for the library, highly recommend grabbing all the books in the building and putting them into one big pile instead taking what you think you need from each shelf. If you put them into one big pile you can just grab one of each book to make sure you avoid duplicates. May cause a bit of lag with all the 3D sprites on screen though lol.

As a former Louisville resident, "Loey-vil" is perfectly acceptable and in common use there to the same degree as "Loua-vul". It's the "Lew-iz-vil" pronunciation that's an abomination.

one really good tip ive found for going back and forth to the city is drive on the train tracks on your way there while honking the horn the whole time so on your way back the main road is clear of dead guys, just remember to honk on the way back to for the next run you do.

Not a "new" video, I know, but for folks coming here in the future, there's also a surplus store on the mall along the North side on the lower level. Just south of the mall is a gas station and one shop West of that is a gun store. For if/when you make a single player base guide, the U-Store It just South of the mall is a great place near the edge of the city to make either a temporary or permanent place to hole up and stash some loot. I'm playing with the new mall spawn location mod and that's where I'm heading now.

I found a distillery the other day on the western side of the city by the river. You can get there by following the highway west from the intersection and its just past the mansions. Great if you need *a lot* of bourbon.

Pro Tip: pick Organized trait + strong perks. You will be able to carry more, and your backpacks will have more container space.

About video stores, there's now one in Muldraugh, follow the highway thats hugs town and go south, after the police station you'll find a building with a small parking lot and plenty of VHS/Cd's insides !

1:40 you have a chance to meet a garage container with closed gates full of WHS. I found one in the West-Point.

A month in zombie population is starting to become a problem in a lot of the industrial zones. Packs of 20+ are common at every street corner. Big residential buildings may have like 40-50 zeds. I'd advise setting up a burn-zone in every cell because every day you don't patrol a cell you'll get 10% zeds back plus migration from neighboring cells and migration due to meta events. Since shottie noise is 100 right now, which means it pretty much just pulls zeds from 1 cell in, you can use it more often. You can get 3-4 kills per shot at 2 aiming even with extreme panic.

It's Leweyville, fight me pronunciation elitists. I've loved actually exploring the city looking for great places to get important supplies. The strip mall just to the northwest(?) Of the stadium has a hardware store, book store, and convenience store just lined up ready to loot. Used the start on Louisville mod, spawned on the opposite side of the stadium and found them a few blocks away. Managed to get most of the books and all the magazines I needed right away in the front part of the store. 10/10 would recommend if you like a harder but sneakier playthrough

There is a video store in the western part of Riverside, close to a Spiffo's, Food market, Gas & Police station where you can find videotapes in the backroom storage. The building have several stores, upside down L-shaped building, tall fences, just beneath a playground. There's also a.. ?Park Patio thingy? to the right of the playground. (Used to be empty space there.) *UPDATE, the video store now got a buttload of shelves added in b41.61 or b41.64, soo... ALOT more videotapes available there now. (last time I was there it was on b41.60) Found 2 more HitVids stores outside of Louisville, One in southern Muldraugh right next to the highway. The other one is in March Ridge (somewhat centered) right next to a laundromat. (just south of the cinema & bar)

There's also a new VHS shop in Riverside, although it's slightly smaller than the one you showed in Louisville

I have find the military checkpoint by accident when I was traveling to Louisville. I have searched every container and I found tons of ammunition, but only two pistols and a M14. But I feel Soo good with the uniforms now I wear.

talking on the tapes you found I know somewhere in mudraugh there's a shop that had shelves of VHS tapes in it, i can't remember exactly where but there's definitely one now.

The wallet factory is definitely worth looting if you have mods that lets you buy things with money

Made my bedroom in the army surplus gun/ammo room, pretty cozy.

there is a pawn store in the cluster of yellow, building near the surplus place. Some where around there loaded with guns in back room. Lots of handy things get pawned.

The mall located in the North-Eastern part of the town (the one close to the water) has a huge gun store too, not to mention other useful stores you could find there

I like the large warehouse on the west. Inside is full of metal shelves that have a diverse loot. From tool, weapons, clothing, food or materials. It maybe crowded from the outside but inside is less crowded than any mall or super market. I usually take advantage of that place when population haven’t reach its peak yet.

if you follow the road bordering LV which has military checkpoint, it has one more checkpoint at the right corner of map literally the end of road. The best thing about this fenced road is zeds can't come in from either side so it's safe to travel, you might encounter a couple of zeds inside the fences but that's nothing regarding to amount of loot you get, from clothes in tent + generator at each checkpoint + guns and ammo(btw there's a tower in b/w checkpoints which as empty crates outside but if you climb it, it has more ammo and guns up there).

Right across the street from the Fossoil plant there's a huge warehouse full of miscellaneous goods, from tools, to food, to clothes and building supplies. As well, on the south end of the city there is a mall. While I don't recommend going into the mall, around it is a Super Giga Mart which has a hardware section, a police station with a small armory, a pet hospital and a pharmacy with meds. There's also tall wire fences in this area with only one way in or out so it can serve as a safe haven if you need somewhere to run.

7:30 there are so many of these warehouses scattered around the whole map. Its insane. I always try when I create a new character to get a working car and just go to one of these ASAP... I know this video is about louisville but if you spawn rosewood you can head up and find so many of these in the farmland area/part of the map. Its insane if you can get a freezer and car on day 1 and go there. (Strawberrys go stale after 1 day) so if you get here at like day 1 or 2 nothing (exept strawberries maybe) get stale. Its so overpowered and one of my favorite strategies that have helped me so much.

I wanted to add a couple from my experience, there is another industrial zone on the upper right corner of louville right where the military surplus store is. There are factories lime wire, kithcen tools, batteries etc. and couple of warehouses which one of them is very large that you can loot a wide variety of products and generators. For firearms, there are pawnshops in the main streets and also one in the mall if i remember it correct. And finally, there is the alcohol factory which i think is very aesthetic and also secure if you build walls and large doors very close to the industrial zone i mentioned

Still terrified of going there but it's good to be prepared regardless.

i know for a fact that somewhere in the city (ill find it in an edit) theres a jewelry and gun store with some good loot, but its in the middle of the city and hard to find, but obvious once you see it due to the barriers for gun stores being down EDIT: found out what it was, its a pawn shop, and there are multiple all with spawns for guns, clothes, and other oddities. they are all close to one another by the north western industry sector and the easiest way to find them for me at least is to find one pawn shop near a church and school, if you find a medical center near a suburban hell and relatively close to the west of the city then go north OR if you find the stadium go to its north end and follow the road WEST (the stadium will say FOSOIL on the side), the pawn shop will be on your right directly one building over an intersection with a book naked store on the other side (note that you must press the little grid on the bottom right of the map screen to understand my instructions) you will find one of the pawn shops here, they all have back entrances im pretty sure so all you may need is a blow torch and welders mask to break in through the back, to find the next pawn shop you need to follow the road north then go west and at the end of the road there is the other pawn shop, the final pawn shop I've found is instead of taking a west turn where you find the second pawn shop, you turn east, and then south onto an actual road to find the final shop, or from the first pawn shop you can drive north right by the school where theres an east road right on the schools north end, follow it east and go north when faced with an intersection and its on that road.

Yesterday we cleaned the Louisville police station with 4 friends. We lost 2 people. but we managed to cleared the building. We found guns and ammo for mounth. On the second floor there is the armory and it is full loaded.

Muldrough has a video shop store near the southern gas station

Though this isn’t a loot spot a point of interest for a large base would be this one set of 3 caged off houses in the south eastern part of the map honestly that entire area just seems to be a golden zone for safe houses if you can clear it out, and keep it cleared.

There is also one big spot for guns and ammo, there is a big police station in the north-west part of the city with a room, full of shelves and boxes with guns / ammo / attachments.

If you drive to the very end of Louisville where the map ends on the highway. Perfect place for a base. That's what my friends and I are doing. Zombies don't come that far up the road.

Anyone who pronounces it Lou-uh-vul is just trying to fit in by using the broken bastardization of the actual name. Also, there's a new video store next to the police station in Muldraugh now, so the one in Louisville isn't the only one, thankfully.

Just because natives call it "louavul" or "luhvul" doesn't mean that it's the only -nor proper- way to say it. In particular "ville" has specifically always been pronounced "veel" as it is based off the french word. Similar sort of thing with Louis, which is pronounced "lewee". Natives to Louisville pronouncing it different is just due to accents.
