Sony made a mistake firing Evolution Studios. they were the Playground Games of Sony's racing department to how Polyphony is Turn 10. ( forza is just soulless rn ) they had so much potential and we can only dream of what could've been made of PS5's hardware potential.

I'm a simple creature. I see Driveclub, I watch, I like, I love. This game is one of those that just got it right: Racing. You can always just pick up the controller and you're bound to have a great time. Also, the only game to get the Regera's transmission correct and the best and most natural first-person camera to exist

I play this game in ps4 and still good even without DLC

Kuru kept mentioning the lack of marketing for this game, but it wasn't the sole reason for Driveclub's downfall. It had multiple server problems, at launch and in the months after. It was a major problem for a game that had a big focus on online play and playing with/against friends. A real shame, as it is certainly of the best racing games of the last console generation. Few simcade racing games feel as good to drive as this, and the rain effects are still the best in the genre 10 years later.

Everytime anyone mentions this game. I WISH I had the DLC's for Driveclub I adored playing even the base game, incredibly fun game.

They gotta bring this to PC, too bad Evolution is gone and Sony sure doesn't feel like renewing all the licenses in this.

I will never forgive myself for not buying the DLC for this game when it was still possible, the base game is great but the entire time I play it feels like more than half of the content is permanently blocked.

I really wish I was able to play Driveclub in its Prime. Hopefully I can find a physical copy and experience the game eventually

I still have my copy, and I can recommend that Kuru gets a racing wheel for this game, it makes it so much more fun racing the cars and the handling for it is so amazing too.

Did platinum on this. To me It's one of the best racing games ever made

Shame they didn't leave all the dlc for free or something, now I got a disc but that's just a snack. So much wasted content. And for what. For more turismo games that are bland dad games like euro truck simulator or lawn moving or house painting

Miss this games prime sooo much. Do wish i got the DLC for it but for the time i only had so much money so i baught the DLC for Horizon 2 and later 3. my friend reminded me of the bikes in it so i thought id buy them and that was right after all the DLC was delisted. I did not long jailbreak a PS4 to play it all and its AMAZING! hoping one day they'll relist it on Steam or something so Gran Turismo can have its market share on Playstation and or as you said Emulation gets good

Its been 10 full years since the release of Driveclub, and its still so gorgeous and AMAZING! Evolution Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment undoubtedly gonna regret shutting down Evolution Studios forever after the release of DRIVECLUB BIKES.

I am so sad that I lost the DLCs of this game

4:19 If Sony would have " learned the lesson" they would have improved GT after axxing Driveclub. Driveclub was too good for the Halo- franchise but every GT since then has been lacking... 15:05 Yeah bike games are niche but they did the right thing and put them as DLC here. Just like TourisTrophy should have been GT4 extra content :)

Man I’ve never played this game but when I get a ps5 it’s on the top 5 list. My brother had it & enjoyed the heck out of it. It’s always the smaller studios who make the best games. Crazy we won’t get a 2nd & why can’t these developers make a racing game like this. Not to mention still looks better then new racing games 😂

I would love to give this a try but as a PC guy we are still waiting for a good PS4 emulator. I already " saved" the game on a harddrive but as of yet theres isnt a playable version on the horizon... Looks great, nice tracks, great career. But I guess the DLC content is lost until an emulator patches it back in or so...

I was always interested in this game but each time I tried to buy it saw some warning for PS Plus/it essentially sounding like I needed a subscription, where no other game (including multiplayer games) had such a PS Plus label stuck onto it. Might just be my misunderstanding of it but I think the store also made it hard to tell what exactly you were buying

Another problem with bikes in games is that it's impossible to make them feel realistic due to the nature of how you turn a bike in real life.
