Z64 just buy it is that good. I have one and I play it on a 65" 4ktv and still looks awesome. You can even apply scan lines.

The price is what kills it for me. The $190 are already insane, and the wireless gamepads are a must for me. :-/ Great console, though!

I dunno, compared to other FPGA consoles of this caliber, the price was actually really good in my mind, and when I received the product, the quality was better than expected The firmware also already has a jailbroken version out with the caveat it cannot do the "chipped games" sa-1, super fx yada yada... But since it's Fpga based, it's likely that someone may figure out how to adapt those And I have 8-bit do controllers, and I haven't tried them on this, but I noticed a lag that was just enough to make me crazy... But I was playing on an original snes to LCD.. So any extra latency is life or death in games.. But I am not too hot on them, at least right now I'd reccomend this 100% over and over...

I bit the bullet and got the black one as well. I had a mindset of getting the "underdog" of a color that wasn't appreciated. I don't regret it one bit. It looks great in person ;)

You can get the gamepads from 8bitdo, and the bluetooth retro receivers are only $20 on their own. I have a SF30pro and use it on my PC with a traditional dongle. You most likely have at least one android compatible gamepad in the house, and can use that with the retro reciever.

He probably did not know since he didn't order one. Both the console and the controllers were sent to him so he just assume they are bundle together.

@@videogameobsession That text is posted in fine print at the very bottom of the store page. They advertise pictures with the 8BitDo controller but don't say it's not included until you read the fine fine fine print. Get off your high horse with your "research"

WunderKix: No, you are wrong. If you go to the Analogue website you will see many of the pictures of the Super NT are only showing the system itself. The first one, which shows the controller with it, is accompanied by a large (not fine print) text which reads: "We partnered up with 8Bitdo to offer matching controllers for the Super Nt, including a RR at discounted price. This means you can even use wireless next gen controllers on your Super Nt, too." The key word here is *OFFER*.. It does not say *Included*. They even mention that the RR (Retro Receiver), which is needed to use a wireless controller, is "offered at a discounted price". Anyone with a fairly good understanding of the English language should realize that they are not in fact included with the console. Not only that, but when you go to buy the the Super NT it shows you EXACTLY what you are getting in the box. And no where does it mention the 8Bitdo controller or Retro Receiver. I don't know about you, but when I am about to spend $200 on something I read this stuff carefully. LOL. Watch Digital Foundry's review from a couple of months ago to see something that's ACTUALLY comprehensive. He actually knows his shit and tests most SNES edge cases, like Air Strike Patrol, which gives emulators hell, and even functions a little strangely on late-model official SNESes, but is perfect on the Super Nt. watch?v=LOSQgBEf5ac Note, however, that most of the issues he discovered have been fixed on later firmware updates, and the color accuracy has also been fixed.

The Jailbreak plays all non-enhancement chip games. As for translations. Simply apply the IPS patch to the rom before putting it on the SDcard. There is no reason to have the non-English version of an RPG, for example, on the SDcard.

The Super Nt has three different buffering options: Zero Delay, which makes the system run a tiny bit slower (exactly 60Hz instead of the 60.08Hz that a real SNES runs at--this is about one frame per ten seconds--you will absolutely not notice a difference!) for perfect compatibility with modern TVs and no lag, Full Buffering, which runs the system at original speed, but introduces a little input lag (less than a frame), or Half Buffering, which also runs at the correct speed, but introduces tearing. I recommend Zero Delay, honestly. And yeah, I just tested Earthbound, and there is no screen tearing unless you choose the mode with screen tearing.

You can apply translation patches and play the games on a flashcart or through the SD card slot if you install the jailbreak firmware. The jailbreak firmware also allows you to copy ROMs from cartridges, and it is by far the best method for dumping roms that I have ever used. I already had three other copiers, but none of them worked with Megaman X2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, Marvelous, Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius, or Shigesato Itoi's #1 Bass Fishing. This works with all of those (although I had to manually adjust some settings in the menu for some, and I had to manually trim Tales of Phantasia on my PC to have it detected as a good dump). N64 is a tall order for now. I think Sega Genesis, GBA, and PS1 are about the best you can hope for currently, and PS1 and GBA would probably require a larger, more expensive FPGA.

Christian Yeah, it used different type of wireless instead of Bluetooth. So it only works with USB.

I purchased the black from Amazon by way of Analogue. It does indeed play over bluetooth connection. Just played SNES9x on PC with it while I wait for my Super NT to arrive.

Hi Christian, The controller that I showed off in the video does indeed work over bluetooth. I just tested it out on my Android phone and it connected.

You're thinking of the 240Hz controllers which 8Bitdo made for use primarily with the SNES Classic. The one shown here is in fact a standard Bluetooth controller w/ BT dongle .

Yeah it does. It runs everything a real Super Nintendo system would.

A flash cart was used during most of the testing, so yes they work.
