Thank you! Carnivores since March/April 2022. Every time we tell someone, we regret it! I have 11 kids only one is interested at all. My husband had a double by-pass 18-20 months ago. I have been type 2 diabetic for 20+. We each lost 40 pounds and feel 20 years younger! No more injections! Every time we fudge on this lifestyle we spend 1-4 days paying for it. We really wish we had the support of others.

the key take-away is support as mentioned at 2m30s. it truly makes a huge difference, having people in your network that embrace your choice. no questions about it. keep doing whatever is working, and ditch the rest. those around will soon be eager to follow suit .. once they witness the ‘ miracle ‘ health reversal of chronic illnesses that mainstream medicine continues to scratch their heads about. ask your detractors about where they get their fat soluble vitamins ...

Dr. Chaffee & Dr.Berry & Dr. Lustig &… all recommend eating fatty, red meat. 1st choice of meat is ruminating animals, free- range, pasture raised, hormone & pesticide- free.Don’t select the leanest cuts, but rather the fatty cuts, ie. ribeye steak. Healthy saturated fat, along with animal protein, is required for good digestion & metabolic health.

Oops I pushed the send button a little too early so I'll finish my post the 11th of April will be 30 days and the whole carnivore business truly resonated with me from the very beginning. There was not a single doubt in my mind and I don't think I've ever been more dedicated to the task at hand as I have this one. Initially I had several concerns because I'm coming up on 75 years and I am diabetic. My last A1C was around 13. My daily sugar numbers responded well very quickly every morning I get up I test sugar first and I averaged between 87 and 120. I want you call a happy camper. My brain farts seem to have corrected themselves within a couple of weeks. That is one of the first things I noticed is my mental acuity and recall. I'm looking forward to a much healthier rest of my life with a wonderful attitude. So I thank you and I appreciate informing the population that we have much better choices than traditional misinformation

I'm not really changing my diet much this year, will just stick with what works for now. You still have to be mindful of your caloric intake the diet itself helps immensely but you have to still make sure your not over eating.
@seanveach950
@seanveach950 Жыл бұрын
@@BennyKsBandwidth Not so sure it is really that cut and dry. Many long term successful carnivores just eat, and many talk about gaining weight in the beginning, sometimes for a few months, until it just starts coming off. Undereating is a real problem. Counting 'calories' is artificially telling yourself what to eat instead of tuning up the hormones that should be guiding you.
@BennyKsBandwidth

@@seanveach950 Well being a past bodybuilder I would say undereating is definitely a problem. But if their metabolism isn't in the right place as well, even just going to the gym twice a week or even just walking. And unless the body has found a way to beat thermo dynamics, caloric intake still needs to be taken into account when losing weight.

In general I eat the following: Normally: Beef. Lamb. Mutton. Goat. Venison. Bison. Fish. Eggs. Cheese. Salt. Water. Coffee. Tea. Occasionally: Elk. Moose. Pork. Chicken. Turkey. Duck. Geese. Rarely: Rabbit. Squirrel. Dove. Quail. Some people say I am not eating carnivore. Some people say I am. I stayed on the Lion Diet for just over 6 months. It healed so many health issues I was experiencing at the time, that to list them here would be off-putting for the average reader. After regaining my health, I slowly reintroduced the foods listed above, one at a time, with 3 day wait periods after adding a new food. Is my current diet "Carnivore"? I don't know and I don't care. Literally. All I care about is my health markers ( _which are excellent now_ ) and how I feel - which is healthy, happy, and hopeful. I think some people focus too much on some strange need to be seen as being part of some particular group. I thankfully do not experience that mental stumbling block. You do you. I'll do me.

Thanks for the advice folks. It's much appreciated. Even though I'm pretty disciplined and determined, I wouldn't put my health at risk by trying to be a martyr to the cause. I'll take it a day at a time.

@@paul756uk2 I do a month long fast annually. Don't let the naysayers get to you. They don't know anything. Long fasts are possible, they are good for you, and there is no harm. When you reach the end of a long fast, your body tells you when to stop. Then, you just eat something small and you're fine.

Betaine HCL for digestion, 1g lysine for every 100g of protein consumed and 5-10g of arginine and ornithine consumed on empty stomach last thing at night is great for spiking natural GH release. Particularly easy to do on carnivore meal plan.

If you can do it, the Cosori air fryer is what I have and I wouldn't be without it. Yes, I clean it every day which isn't a problem at all. I know there are supposed to be better one's but this is one we could afford and it hasn't let us down and we use it every day since May this year. Blessings to you and yours 💯

I'm going back to carnivore for this year, and I'm excited! Scrabled eggs, cheese and Tabasco sauce for breakfast. Just ate some ham that was cooked with pineapples. And a little brisket. Beers (blue moon) for a bedtime snack lol--basically my only source of carbs!

I am new to carnivore, started off full steam ahead which I later found out which is not the best thing to do. I am 69 years old female with some health problems basically insulin resistant and having problems regulating my sugar I decided this was the way I needed to go. I am mediately started off with a back pain and after doing some research heard that I needed to add fat to relieve that. Well that’s somewhat worked and then it went downhill from there I have horrible breath , cottonmouth and very white coat on my tongue . a raspy voice now no energy whatsoever very very weak everything I eat is now going through me and has been going through me for about eight days. I find it very difficult to eat and gag on anything that has fat in it nothing tastes good and I can’t stomach eggs. . I get horrible abdominal cramping if I eat or drink anything. Please help what am I doing wrong. Marianne

Outstanding! I’m going for 30 days carnivore too. I’m currently on my 3 day, and I feel good so far. I’m extremely overweight (305lbs.),and I’m a paraplegic, paralyzed from my waist down since 2010. I’ve recently been diagnosed as type 2 diabetes, for the first time in my life. I’m turning 54, two days from today, April 22, 1970. I pray that by going strict carnivore will melt my fat away so I can one day reach my personal ideal weight of 181. I hope you continue to do well with your goals. Oh, if you do mind, could you please share if and how much weight you were able to lose by going on carnivore for as long as you’ve been? Thanks! Take care.
