The best thing that never happened to me was getting accepted into the nursing major program. All my life I thought I'd have some type of career in the medical field, partially because my mom had planted the idea in my head. But half of me has always had a passion for fashion. I'm now a business management major and hope to open my own fashion boutique some day 😊❤️

The best thing that never happened to me was God swatting away man after man who I wanted to be in a relationship with. After God stopped every one of those potential relationships, I would find out something crazy about the guy (one was a huuuuuge stoner, one drank too much, one had an anger problem, one was manipulative, etc). I would get so angry when things would never work out, but God was protecting me.

How much do I love this topic! Sometimes when you are in the middle of something that seems so difficult and you feel depressed, sad or confused, it is hard to understand the message that all of what you are going through is happening for a reason. Without going into detail, 2017 was a REALLY difficult year for me, from start to finish. However, had I not experienced everything from 2017, it wouldn't have resulted in where I am today in 2018. Which is much happier, healthier, secure and at peace. I think we can all relate to this. Everything happens for a reason and timing is everything. Sometimes we don't get what we want WHEN we want it, in the package we want it.....but in time the Universe will deliver exactly what you need.

Y’all keep saying it wouldn’t be right if Tamera played Ashley Banks . Well it’s because you’re use to seeing Tatyana Ali and now you can’t imagine it. Tamara knows how to act , if she was casted she would have pulled the part off and then you would be saying you can’t see any body else as her role.

I didnt get a job after my graduation. I was so devastated that I booked a ticket right after I heard the news and traveled to middle east. I met my husband through that travel. we are married now for 2 years and he is the best.

I got a call back to audition for the bad girls club 🤦🏾‍♀️ I was 22 at the time and I was actually not a “ bad girl “ but was playing it up to get chosen. I ended up not moving further than the callback. I love who I am And where I am in life currently and that def wouldn’t have happened if I went on that show.

best things that never happened to me : in France when you want to be a doctor you have to pass a certain an exam where there is only 90 places (and we were a thousand student). I ended up 150 out of the thousand, i was DEVASTATED but got picked for midwifery school, so i was like "hey, i guess that's what i'm supposed to do !" went to midwifery school : it was HELL 🔥 the school treated me like sh** but thanks GOD they did, 'cause i'd have been settling for something that wasn't meant for me, today i'm planning on trying AGAIN to become a doctor 'cause i figured that, that's what i've been created to do so i'm still on my journey but i have faith you guys !!! 💪🏾 i CAN, I WILL and I MUST

Moved away, working for the best airline in the world, in the process of buying my home, back in college and traveling the world! Also found the love of my life and although we are not together right now, I know he is the only man I’ll ever want to be with!!! Dodge a major bullet when my ex left! Happy he did !

I’ve experienced this! I graduated college and have been applying to teaching jobs non stop. Had an interview at 2 schools and the school that I really wanted to work out at turned me down. However I did get a job offer (that I accepted!) and I’m so glad that the school that I previously wanted turned me down! My school pays more and the kids are younger so I know I’m going to have a great time!

Back in 2003 I entered into a singing/songwriting contest. The rules were you had to come up with three original songs, which were judged on best written lyrics, composition, arrangement, production value, vocals, etc. Whoever had the best songs would be offered a development deal with a major label. So I wrote, produced and sang the three songs for the contest, which were voted to be the best by the judges. I won the competition as a result and was offered the development deal. As you can imagine I was ecstatic, to the point where I drove to my parent's house and told them about winning this competition. They were not happy at all, as I was going to drop out of college and pursue a music career. There was a pretty major argument and so I ended up not taking the offer. I was really depressed after that, which put a strain on my relationship with my parents. However, it turns out that a year later that record label went under and was bought out by Sony Music Entertainment. Many of the artists signed to the failed label (especially the newer artists) lost their contracts during the transition. I would've been one of them if I had signed that contract. It was less than a year later that I was offered a record deal by another label and became signed. I've been working in the industry ever since and am soon to have my own record label.
