One of the most non-touristy things to do at the most touristy spot in Singapore. Today, I used a share bike app and did a round trip around Marina Bay Sands. If you follow my route, it takes around 1.5hours and the cost is 2SGD. Looking for some activities to do around this area? I recommend cycling! Really fun. Enjoy.

Everytime I see Ghib san ride pass his camera, I just imagine that he have to find a nice scene. Place his camera down and then ride pass it to make it cinematic for us.

Yes that's why I always wish Singapore would go back 15 years ago to the early 2000s......back before you know what......back when Singapore felt like the original old school Singapore,before the extra 2 million aliens existed on this island.......the Singapore u see in 90s or 00s Japanese anime and advertisements that Japanese were obssessed with...... That Singapore is gone now......now it's just another "metropolitan" globalised artificial manufactured construct.

2:31. People working overtime will make the skyline light up and look beautiful. That's grim, but I like it. "The suffering of others brings me joy". 8:00. I like that, underselling it to manage expectations. Versus hyping it up so high it becomes underwhelming.

i have good memories of sitting at those benches at night after school with a friend and chatting the night away. it was just before the circuit breaker hit too, so it was completely deserted. really good experience overall ☺️

Perhaps the best time to visit all the places around Marina Bay and CBD as it feels like the entire area belongs to you and you only since there are not many people around! 😂 After seeing the video, I feel like I should do the same tour before tourists come in again!

Nice video as always! When I visited Singapore, I walked all the way from my hotel in Bencoolen to MBS and took almost the same route as you did but on foot. It was so hot but the views were so rewarding (and the food at the hawker centre was delicious)! I will definitely try riding a bike next time. Thank you for the video!

Brought back great memories from my trip last year. I didn't go all the way to Marina barrage. Next time I guess. I had posted a response on another of your videos of a night I was sitting on the boardwalk after drinking a huge glass of beer at Cafe Noir, when there was lightning flashing in the low clouds, a light drizzle, and a cool breeze. It was great! So beautiful looking across the bay...

You can continue cycling to garden by the bay east, just across the bridge and thereafter to sport hub.

If you continue and cross marina barrage, you can actually cycle to Kallang Stadium pretty easily by cutting through Tanjong Rhu. Quite a scenic trip too, and I like walking or cycling that route from Stadium to MBS

A small add-on for people who like photography - The rooftop of Esplanade is open to the public. Closes at 10pm, I believe. Anyway, another good place to chill with free music.

Next time u can check out esplanade roof top. There are restaurants there, and also a little place to sit & chill if u dont want to patronise the restaurant! It is specially pretty at night! Just head up by the escalators at the part of the building nearest to the water.

If you want to be even more adventurous you can continue from marina barrage to east coast park. Nice biking path along the whole park

You should stop by this place called Marina One while u r there. It has quite amazing facade and gardens.

Ojisan! You should try cycling from the Marina Bay area towards East Coast Park & the Kallang Waterfront area. There is a connected path you can go through over there from Marina Barage -> Gardens By the Bay -> East Coast Park -> Kallang. You could also stop by for food/drinks over at the East Coast Lagoon Food Village. There's awesome grilled foods over there like satay, grilled wings & seafood & also huge cups of sugar cane juice. Definitely an activity you should try out. I'd recommend doing this during a weekday where it isn't as crowded though.

Your bicycle trip around the bay is cool.Too bad you end at one end of the garage.You should ride further up to the other end .There is a small boat loading platform over there.There is a crane structure for loading small boat from the open sea to the reservoir.Perhaps next time you can film more at the barage.THANKS for sharing.

the otter family, the lizards are all frequent visitors at the race track too. ha will be such a good area to see the planes from here. unblocked view. maybe i should go there again during national day ya. havent been there for quite some time already.

今日も楽しく観させてもらいました〜えー😵私もマーライオン好きなんだけど、残念スポットとか悲しいわ。🇸🇬の象徴ですよね❣️ 裏側にいる子🦁も可愛いし、セントーサの巨大なのもまたいい。笑当時住んでたインドネシアから〜の初渡星⭐️25年程前でした。sq✈️もお初でした！サンズもUSSもガーデンズも何もなかったけど、ライオンさんは変わらずいてめっちゃ感動しました。どこぞのホーカーズにも行った記憶があったりで…だから今でも大好きです❤️

まさに私のウォーキングコース!!! ジブオジいないかなぁ？って思いながらいつもウォーキングしてます(笑)マーライオンの近くの橋の下のフルーツジュース屋さんもお勧めですね。歩いて汗かいた時の1杯が最高!!!

Hello Ghib Ojisan, love your videos that introduce the hidden tourist spots in Singapore. Recently you've been showcasing the bike-sharing apps, and it's great, but I think you may need to educate your Japanese viewers the rules of using the service here. Mainly, you have to park at designated spots and scan the QR code located there in order to not get fined. And they need to use Credit/Debit card to link to the app, not sure if overseas cards can be used, but there will be exchange rates by the bank/issuer to consider as well.

最後のMarina Barageの所の橋を渡った対岸も自転車で走ると気持ち良いですよね。大きな公園になっているし。以前、住んでいた時、よく自転車で行ってました。

Are those Anywheel bikes Single speed or do they have internal hub gearing? I recall many of the SG Bikes are single speeds, a complete nightmare to ride up any hill lol

Do the same ride between 7 to 8pm. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! Also, you can get to the top of Marina Barrage now, you just need to do the SafeEntry check in and out for contact tracing purposes.

I like to walk around less crowed Marina Bay Area . Financial centre side , it is not so crowed on Sunday and I also love to walk around . サーキットブレーカー時にマーライオンパークに誰もいなかったので感動しました。ファイナンシャルセンター側は日曜は静かでとても気持ちいいので僕も好きです。

Ghib san , have you been to Labrador Park , i recommend you go there to get free negative ions from real jungle tress within the city center, cicadas singing in the tress and explore what it was like when the British colonisers lived in gigantic bungalows surrounded by old trees, you will get that vibe there. Lookout for the waterfront colonial bungalow across the waters on the left when you are there.

マリーナ地区が開発されたのは最近のことでそれ以前はマーライオンはちょっと内陸よりの場所にあったと思います。そのときのマーライオンはちょっと小さくて、背中からしか見れなかったので当時のシンガポールを知っている日本人にはがっかりスポットとして認識されているんでしょうね。

まだSGにいた頃は東のほうからECP↔マリナベイエリアを自転車で走るのすごく好きでした…！ジブおじさんが気持ちよく空いているベイエリアを回っているのを見ると羨ましいです。因みに、橋を渡ってバラージの向かい側に行くとGardens by the Bay Eastがあって、そこからのベイエリアの景色も最高です！imgur.com/a/klkkGwL ECP付近で自転車をレンタルして、海沿いを走りながらベイエリアに向かうルートがおすすめです。午後4時以降スタートするとベイエリアの夕方の顔と夜の顔がエンジョイできます！:)

去年の7月の夕方、汗だくになりながら歩いて一周したっけ。自転車を借りる発想はなかったなぁ。あのときはカジノのスロットでそこそこ稼いでミロを呑みまくって、マリーナベイサンズの横のイベントスペースにシルク・ドゥ・ソレイユのテントがあって、噴水ショーはマーライオンの前の出っ張り？から見たなぁ。いつかはまたいけるんだろうけど、同じ景色は二度と見られないんだよなぁ。ジブおじさんへ、セントーサ島の近況が気になってます。よろしくおねがいします。
