I've been looking for the perfect tent for years! First, we had a stunning Bell tent, then a huge tunnel tent, then the awesome Coleman Swagger 3p tent, but they all had flaws and limitations. This one, the RV-3 from Oztent ticks all of my boxed and much more!
I'm really happy with it, and in my humble opinion, it's the best tent you can buy if weight and size aren't an issue for you.

Really like the little attachment "clips" you use to hold the mozzie coils, what are they please?

5:07 The RV1 has been discontinued but they are well worth the buy (second hand or NOS) Its surprising the room in the RV1, it lacks full headroom of main tent compared to the 2 3 4 &5 but the front awning is biggest in the entire range, you can stand fully upright in the awning with the sides peaked and it only measures 1.5 packed in the bag! I managed to get hold of possibly the last set of RV1 peaked side panels last year! To be honest you really only sleep inside the tent so the RV1 is perfect for solo giving you more room under the awning where you spend most of your time, it also takes a full sized stretcher bed, You should look out for a second hand one, I have hardly used my RV3 since I bought the RV1 because it fits on the spare wheel bike carrier on my Jeep TJ :)

Hey legend, I've fallen in love with the RV3 and also have a military green Jimny. I haven't bought one yet as I've wondered if I'm overdoing it putting such a big unit on a small vehicle. Mind you I've put x2 mountain bikes up there and a rack and full cargo bag. Would love a photo of it on the roof if you possible. Great review and vid.

I’ll see if I can find one for you ;-) I’ve never had a problem traveling with it. We also have the SV5 max and even that travels just fine. Great tents.

@@peterkelly8997 I have had my RV3 on a tiny Hyundai i20 roof bars many times so your jimny wont be a problem, you don't need a big over lander for this tent even though they are long and heavy they almost hold themselves on the roof, I have an RV3 and an RV1 I prefer my RV1 if solo it has a bigger awning! make sure you buy the awning cross bars x2 because its better to have one in the middle and one at the outer edge.
