Vanilla chiffon
Flour 2cups
Sugar 1 1/2 cups
Eggs 7 (separated)
Baking powder 3tsp
Salt 1tsp
Milk 1/2 cup
Oil 1 cup
Cream of tartar 1tsp
Vanilla flavour 3tsp
Method
* Sieve together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl
* Separate eggs into whites and yolk. Put the whites in clean stainless mixing bowl with cream of tartar, whip until stiff peaks.
* Put together yolks, milk, oil and flavour in another cup.
* add the yolk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix till combined
*fold in the whipped egg whites into the batter 3 additions.
*Pour in 2 6inches pans lining only the bottom (do not grease pan)
*Bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes or until tookpick inserted at the middle comes out clean.
