Love your vids, I'm a fullback playing at about the same level as you. What helped me improve my shooting was focusing on the fundamentals and my technique and shooting closer to the goal. A lot of the reason your missing is bc your off balance or leaning back when you shoot. Hope that helps and keep up the grind.

Bro sometimes you may feel like you want to shoot even if you're off balance. I learned that it's best to set up the ball for a good strike. Usually in games when you're off balance or feel like the shot isn't going to come off you're not going to take it. Even if you have to take an extra touch to move the ball to a better spot and make sure you're hips are aligned with the goal, What helped me improve my game is always thinking in a game mindset, even in shooting, dribbling, defending, and passing drills. I don't mean killing yourself all the time in training like you would in a game but asking yourself if it'd work in a game.

I dont know if your doing this but personally I prefer practicing in areas where I am most commonly going to be able to shoot and shoot from that area. I also prefer only working at a corner at a time during each session to maximize my efficiency. After you warm up shooting I suggest shooting after dribbling at speed because it is realistic and stationary shooting and shooting whilst dribbling at pace is totally different but yeah keep up the good work and I hope to see you in the MLS one day⚽

Yeah no I do that as well because I will most likely play CDM next year as I did this past year and playing in that position, most of my shots came from outside the box and in and around the 18 years box, which is why I was shooting from that far out, and I really do appreciate those tips bro and thank you! 🙏

Yeah my goal is to play MLS Next, and I currently play for a club called “IFA” and I play on their EDS team at the USYS National level and , I mainly play RB and CDM and can also play on the wings and at LB as well as CB if needed, I post weekly so I hope you enjoy the content and find it helpful in a way!

I do position based drills and I also do other drills like finishing, etc. to be as well rounded as possible because I can play nearly every position on the pitch, and so in this session I wanted to improve my biggest weakness which is finishing

@@ateh4 Fair enough but as you move into higher levels you need to become a specialist in your desired position if you want to take that next step to making it pro. Being well rounded is always good at a youth level, but if you really have aspirations to make it pro some day or just go as far as you can, your best bet is to become the best fullback you can be so you can stand out in tryouts. I watched some of your earlier tryout videos and I think it’s important for you to understand that you have the qualities and potential to make it on an MLS Next team. However, you aren’t really standing out in your tryouts which is why I suggest focusing on being the greatest fullback you can be. If you can harness your attributes such as your pace and passing, you’ll be able to stand out more in tryouts by being an attacking based fullback who is excellent at being an attacking threat and good at defending. You’ll draw the coaches’ eyes more consistently and give yourself a better chance of being asked to attend a training session with the team. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you.

You should try and identify your weakest part, and if you can’t do that, then improving your first touch is ALWAYS good to work on, I have a video coming out in August 12th which are drills to help you improve on your first touch, and there are so many videos on KZfaq on how to improve your first touch as well!

yo nice vid as always u may be better than me but i have some tips i see u not doing as much 1 tip: try leaning more forwards when u shoot so u get more power and don't look at the goal ofc u have to but not when u shoot just look on the ball u want to shoot and just smash on the bone of u foot idk how to say it english since im danish but try that and love to see that u training off season most of the poeple i know dosent want to improve im the only one that wanna do that so most at the time i train alone but keep on going man

@@ateh4 okay so i live in denmark playing for VFF and im 14 years old and last season i was 13 so we played in u13 in league 3 but now we are in league 2 im sure i scored 14 goals and was topscore most of them was from a assist but goal is a goal man i scored 4 long shots they were really nice and got 5 goals from a assist 2 from tap in and then 3 inside the box

@@ateh4 U see I used to play RW then the RB on the team left so he put a different person to RW and now I play RB. But my personal favorite has to be CDM.
