Taking inspiration today from a beautiful neighborhood in Mexico City as we build out our 100% pedestrian city of Golden bay! thanks for talking about the real world reasons why we don't see neighborhoods like this being built everywhere - and why they are basically treated like a luxury and exclusive. it's important

let's goooo viva mexicooooooo great build, I appreciated how you touched on the frustrating lack of such neighbourhoods in real life. the existence of the ones you showed us shows that they are clearly possible and well within reach, but for so many incredibly trivial reasons they aren't being implemented. La Condesa, Hipódromo, Roma Norte and Roma Sul should be EVERY neighbourhood, not just some cool things for us to look at on google maps :/

Someone almost had an accident with that hearse and I'm pretty sure that cop ran over a pedestrian! Amazing build and it's given me some great ideas.

Interesting street layout. Such a beautiful place. Completely different than the rest of the City but it also fits in perfectly.

We are back in Mordalgo! Or at least the Mordalgo map. Or is this Mordalgo county? And a new neighbourhood grows! I think every neighbourhood could have one or two pedestrian streets. At least, that's how we do it down here (ideally). Also, I want to see how you integrate the Industries DLC in the 15 min. city! Cargo is a whole other beast! I don't know about México, but down here, such a luxuriously verdant place would be mosquito hell. In fact, we have many verdant plazas like that, here! You are so lucky, Joy, to live in the colder north. As for the new P&P walkable streets, can you use BOB, or the Lane Marking Tool, to hide the bollards? (I've seen LMT work miracles) They seem so redundant here, even with the trams! The strip of commercial at 7:00 is awesome. And so your style. Can you come plan the city where I live? Do you know why walkable neighbourhoods are so expensive? They should attract people that can't afford cars! Do they suffer from Tesla/Prius effect, in that they attract "hippie chic" kind of people? Garden city, yes. With Industries DLC farms? Hopefully!

Yes, we are on our map we built Mordalgo on, staying on the same map but moving to a new area we are working on Golden Bay, the 100% pedestrian city. Thanks as always for the feedback and support Diego! Yes, garden city will be heavy on the farm land!

Great video! Maybe you should rethink your use of mass transit. Only use it to connect more distant areas. Cims do love to walk and bike. I member watching Biffa follow a cyclist from one side of the map to the other going to the airport.
