Many of you have asked me what the Best wireless Bluetooth Headphones is and that I'd suggest on the higher end that is less mainstream consumer-focused in sound. You know, more audiophile friendly. I just got back from a trip and brought these with me. They're great!
Don't forget to pick them up before SUNDAY to get 20% OFF using this link: myte.ch/eL1Mk

You're correct! As for codecs and stuff, I'd check out the link. That has a ton of info on it that I can't remember. Latency is always an issue with Bluetooth. That's a baseline limitation, but wired over the DAC/USB-C or headphone jack will have low/no latency.

Do they have ANC or a built-in DAC? Are they made out of metal or plastic? I know the answers to all of these. That's why the Focal's cost more. A lower price has a trade off. You determine if you care about it or not.

@@ThisIsTechToday They have built in Dac. They dont have anc which I personally hate (passive noise cancellation is enough as i dont live near a factory ) because its pressure into the ears. Plastic , metal things you can decide. But for metal alone i dont think we should pay 800 dollars.

@@TheChrisDecember Don't get me wrong I'm using wireless as well but I had that experience with BT Teufel over ears. One week after warranty the battery died and I wanted it to be repaired. The support told me buy new ones it's cheaper. So much for environment friendly. The thing is it is possible to build headphones with replaceable battery as some brands are showing already. But with the big companies that would mean they can't sell you a new product even if it's just a minor thing to replace. Luckily the EU is doing something about that and in near future all phones must have a replaceable battery again. That also could include other electric devices at some point.
@FighterofGD
@FighterofGD Жыл бұрын
@@ThisIsTechToday That's good at least you could use them like that. That's a point. But why not buying cabled ones immediately then? Plus iPhone users will need an adapter for it. Maybe an cheap 10$ special adapter from Apple 😂. But with the new iPhone 15 you'll be able to use it as well, at least in the EU. No clue if the rest of the world will still get lighting. Anyway good work, I like your videos. They were helping me to make a decision about some headphones due to your real sound testing. You're the only one I know who's doing that and since it's harder and harder to get these devices and test them properly before you buy them, these videos are very important for people who care about sound quality.

Funny I was looking at those a couple of days ago but £700 for wireless headphones is just ridiculous. Apple £500 was already laughable but this is nuts! They should be perfect at this price range like equipped with an industry leading ANC, plus I seriously doubt that they sound any better than a £300 pair of pro/studio Beyer. £350-£400 would be an acceptable price range
@ThisIsTechToday
@ThisIsTechToday Жыл бұрын
Audiophile headphones made out of magnesium and genuine leather that will last you decades and isn’t disposable for almost $600 is a steal. This isn’t even in the same ballpark as AirPods Pro and audiophile headphones are usually thousands of dollars. I just tried a pair that was $60,000… You’re expecting the unreasonable. If you got it for that price they’d be made out of plastic like all the others in that price range. I have a ton of bayers because they send me all of them, and it’s a different sound. Not as high end boosted like them. Depends on your preferences.

They sound close to a 300£ wired headphones but not better that's why it cost more, cuz it's of its DSP! So they shouldn't cost less than 300-400. In my opinion 600-500 would be the best price for them. If you compare them to AirPods Pro Max they sound around twice better. So the price in AirPods Pro Max still too high

What do you think is the better option in this price range with similar features and offerings? @orangedan5424

@This is Tech Today IF you give me the same amount for bathys, I would rather buy Focal Celeste (yes I know it's wired) and Btr7 to convert it wireless. Btr7 support all codecs Inc LDAC which most high end don't. This way you know your expensive investment last a long time, no worries about dead battery. Another option, IF you don't mind bulky, you can get Audeze Maxwell. NOW before you say it's a gaming headset....try them out first. It's not hype, it's real, their audio quality is damn good. Comparable to expensive wired headphones. The best part it's only $299. You can buy top quality DAP with the remaining savings.
