Riot looks too happy to be a figure.

for me, king in black venom is my favorite. I think that venom's more modern designs fit the character better than the original comics if that makes since. If they make a proper Mark Bagley design, I'll be all in. Other than that, I just prefer a giant muscular venom who looks like he just climbed out of a mosh pit.

I agree about the lack of accessories, especially with the prices collectors are paying. Hasbro could've reused the Sandman bludgeoning "hand" accessories for Riot, and a "spitting" effect for Agony. I hope Hasbro reissues the previously released Life Foundation symbiotes with updated articulation. Always appreciate your reviews!

I really like this set, all of them cause I love separation anxiety story. I actually think it would be great to have Scream and Lasher re-released becuase those are very expensive to get right now and I missed those, so it would be nice for newer collectors, but probably it's just me! 😅

Now we just need this Venom, but pinless. Also, with having finished the Life Foundation individuals, now we need us a Hybrid.

That retro card Vemon is going for more than the mafex version. I'm gonna try out the marvel select head on it. A ball jointed waist would've been ideal. They already do it with the joe line and it makes all the difference.

As much as I want this 3 pack, I will get the Venom and Knull 2 pack because I love the Venom head Sculpts more but I won't be posing Venom with the wings because he will be my main comic Venom in my collection despite him having toes which I'm okay with, No matter what, David you always have awesome reviews.

Dave, in regards to the black lines on Eddie's forehead- think of it as Eddie channeling his inner Gorbachev and the line is a beauty mark. LOL🤣😂 As for Riot, he looks like he just realized he ate some bad super market sushi and he is about to hurl all over the place.

I genuinely prefer the Venom that came with Knull. Even though the body mold he's based on the movie version, I think he's way more detailed with some great sculpt and articulation, but I will admit that the Eddie Brock/Venom head from this 3 pack is pretty cool!

In general, my opinion about this 3pack is: It's okay to evaluate and describe each figure separately. 1. Venom is easily one of the best Venoms we've ever had at this scale, and maybe even compared to those of smaller or larger scale. He has all the accessories that should be, fists to knock out spider-man's teeth because he's a strong guy and he doesn't just use claws XD. And two interchangeable heads: one normal which is ok you can see normal venom in it but there's something unique about it and it looks outstanding, at least compared to the king in black one. Long tongue trailing behind the back of his head, smaller and more half-closed eyes and jaw not so wide open and teeth smaller. And it's an okay head but straight away without comparably the head of King in Black this is the best venom head ever for me they just nailed it and this is my perfect venom. And I'm actually surprised you didn't mention that head because I'd be pretty sure that's your perfect head. Big eyes, A wide open mouth filled with big teeth and a tongue that's curled up not too long and not too short and painted to look slimy and has some grooves on it? Something like that. And the second head which was a brilliant choice because at first I thought it would be cooler if we had only the normal Eddy head but explaining it so that instead of having two normal sides of the face where we only see Eddy it would be better to stand out the head that would show Eddy but also the venom that entwines it and it's something BRILLIANT really great idea normally AHHHH I'm excited. And the bodymold and the whole look of this venom is PERFECT not too big not too small really good articulation and maybe it's quite an old bodymold but all in all it still works for me and I don't need another. But if you want something new, you have the one with King in black which, unfortunately, may not have a turn in the calves and butterfly joints but looks more consistent in some aspects. The only thing I don't know a bit doesn't suit me are the tentacles that stick out of his shoulders and when he has eddy's head it looks cool but when he has a normal venom head these tentacles seem so out of place to me out of nowhere because nowhere else there are none. Also, it seems to me that the king in black is better for me and Definitive Venom, even though it has a little worse articulation and has holes in the back without wings, it is the best ML VENOM OF ALL TIME IMO. Which is really ironic because at the beginning I argued a lot to give us venom on omega red bodymold because the movie is too big but when I had these figures with me and I'm looking who turned out better and who is more suitable for venom. Ironically, I think I like the 2pack more than the 3pack XD And trying to make a quick statement about Riot and Agony. 2. Agony seems to be fine but it doesn't seem like she has anything unique about her, even they could give her some kind of symbiote weapon like riot or phage even if there wasn't one in the comics. Painting is fine, articulation is also a pity that unfortunately there is no good bend in the torso forward accessories are. Fists and open hands, fine. 3. Riot and when it comes to him there is something that I really like about the way he looks. And even if the color doesn't match, it suits me better to have a blue giant instead of another gray one. And also bright blue makes the symbiotes, tentacles, veins, etc. more visible, The painting as for the teeth no they were lazy, it's bad, and when it comes to the whole head actually for me when I saw it and I still think it looks like a face of psychopath who has strange eyes and that wide smile with which such a super scythe fits perfectly and all this makes riot probably the best of Live foundation right with Phage. Lasher and Scream, well, not too much, unfortunately, nothing special. To sum up the whole 3 pack, it's okay, only agony doesn't seem to be that cool to me, which is a pity. Unfortunately, as you said, I really hope the price will drop because at the moment on my Polish amazon they want almost 100 pounds for it which is just absurd. So unfortunately it will be a while before I get this pack. And referring to the reviews, as usual, cool and everything is great, only that I really miss comparisons with king in black venom or with someone else or head swaps etc. Good review as usual.

We are _so_ close to having the perfect Marvel Legends Venom. This one has the right size, bulk, and super hero stature. They just need to do a few things to achieve said perfection. 1. Make the body pinless. 2. Change the articulation (diaphragm joint, ball peg neck, more elbow bend, etc.). 3. Adjust the portions (more back to chest ratio, a better set head on neck, better shoulder placement, etc.). 4. Keep the amount of accessories (two heads and two hands). *5. Optional: A Venom head that's more neutral with no tongue. *6. Optional: The same Symbiote texture as the Movie Venom. *7. Optional: More accessories. Now _that_ would be the perfect Venom. I can't see how they would be able to top that one. It'll probably take two years or so for this to happen, considering how long it took for the Omega Red body to be properly used for Venom. Hasbro's odd like that at times.

This new venom is perfect I just don't want the other figures

This Venom has ended up like a "parts pack" for my Knull Venom (KV). I put the feet from this Venom on my KV and though a bit big, work well. The heads swap fine on to KV. I think I really prefer KV, but this 3 pack Venom is great if you didn't spring for KV.

Love your enthusiasm and your detailed reviews of the figures. Venom does look awesome although it's not perfect. It might be the definitive Venom for now. Hasbro did get sloppy and cheap on the other two figures. Which is a shame due to the high price point.

As weird as this sounds, I like the king in black for my Venom and this one for my Brock. Like if I were to put the transforming Brock head on KIB it would terrible, but he looks small when he has that big venom head. Just personal preference I guess! Also Dave you wildin the first Venom movie was pretty entertaining 😂

I lost it at the "DEEEERRRPPP!!! I'm a symbiote!" XD It's funnier because there's a bit of fuzz on the goofy head of Riot and I dunno why that makes me laugh even more.

15:10 usually depends on the characters. Good rule of thumb is anything Symbiote or Spiderman will sell out very quickly

I wish you could pop the neck tendrils out. The masked head doesn't really do it for me but there hasn't been a ML idea Venom head to me. I think the MS is still the best. ML keeps making his head narrow and kinda buck toothed. But I'm definitely partial to the Bagley or Larsen style. The animated Venom head was near perfect for that version though. Riot, not the body i would have chosen, and Id want him to have accessories similiar to the sandman baf. Hammer, spike ball, scythe.

I agree venom great your options for agony are great for riot ….fix then teeth 😅, inverse the colors they gave riot & give venom his sickle and give riot hammer/bludgeoning weapons and that set them to me look better (I think that look better)

I did a black wash on him then dry brushed a blue-ish gray, it looks much, much better. There is a decent amount of detail on this figure that's just completely lost because Hasbro is too cheap to paint them

the life foundation symbiotes first debuted in the lethal protector series . I loved the separation anxiety series . so I was just letting you know that they first appeared in venom lethal protector . that is venom's first solo series . I got the trade paper back .

Ugh, bad week for Amazon to ship this early. I need Uber money for Black Panther and food tomorrow, got charged for Mummy Mikey from BBTS and I got the PS4 version of God of War 2 this week, can't wait for it! So I canceled this, figuring it should go on sale like every Amazon Legends does or until I get more money. If I get this, I might end up ebaying the 5 symbiotes off because Riot looks so eh and I dunno if I really "need them" beyond a picture.

Just got these guys today, my literal first word after starting to pose Agony was "Eww". She feels like she's going to rip, no matter how gentle I am. At least Riot is the same feeling as Toxin, and Venom is standardly tough. But Agony is gummy, and even more gummy than phage and modern carnage were! I hope to the sky that this isn't what Spiderman and spinneret feel like, because I'm looking forward to them On the plus side, the new venom head is great for recreating that image of carnage tearing the symbiote away from Eddie. Also the movie venom heads work pretty well on the body. Though I still think the two pack venom is my favorite

If I had to pick a favorite of the life Foundation symbiotes my first favorite would be scream mainly because we don't have a lot of female symbiotes out there and then my second favorite would have to be Agony for the same reasons as scream I just like the female symbiote characters and then my third favorite would be phage because I just think he looks cool

Great video. - I agree with you that Riot should have been on a smaller body, but I disagree with your choice of AOA Sabertooth. I believe the Omega Red body would still be bigger/taller than that buck, Riot still needs to be bigger than Venom. I think they should have used the CALIBAN BAF body as the Riot base. It's just a little bit bigger than the Omega red body, but it isn't a Hulk. - I think the half-changed head for Venom is great, but the other head just isn't doing it for me. I want a really good Bagley-inspired head. (Though if I'm being honest the way he drew Venom's head seemed to change from issue to issue, but when people say Bagley Venom head everyone really only means : Venom: Lethal Protector #1 cover, head) - I'd really like to see a Life Foundation 5-Pack. I don't even mind if they use older bucks so long as they use more appropriate bucks and try to fix some of the smaller/significant issues, like the lollipop head that Agony has. I still think Lasher there needs a lot of work, he feels more slap dashed than the rest. Also, give him and Phage more appropriate feet. Just my thoughts. Keep up the good work.

The only thing about the new female figures I love right now is the stronger female legs less chances of gummy syndrome. I'm waiting to see this "highly articulated" Black Widow next year to see how they improve the female figures.

hasbro seems to be copying the mfarlane articulation in the body where there is the midrib swivel that helps keep the contour of the figure. unfortunately, they also did away with that angular cuts around the abs same as mcfarlane because it really doesnt look nice, but unfortunately, takes away the ab crunch. they need to find a way to get around that.

Realistically speaking, what are the chances of us even getting the life foundation symbiotes in any other form or from any other company? I am skeptical that hasbro would bother making future versions of these considering how long it has taken them to even make the full team in the first place, and no company has made figures of these characters outside of venom and carnage at all since the 90's.

The Cates run is phenomenal. Stegman is one of my all time favorite venom artists with Bagley and McFarlane too. Personally I don't like either of the Venom heads. Paul Hardings work is usually top notch. The tongue is just ludicrous, and the Eddie head isn't nearly as good as the select of OG spider-Man classics attempts

Comparing what you can get from a customizer to what you can get from a billion dollar mass production company is kinda apples and oranges. Look at a multibillion dollar company like harley davidson (11k-50k a bike) compared to Keanu Reeves custom Arch bikes (starting at 85k a bike). Us repeat customers should expect hasbro to either hold up their end of the deal and produce what we are asking for, or hand over their contracts to a company that will. Remember they are not our friend or neighbor. They are making billions off of drip feeding us things most of us have been begging for for years.

Dave i love your vids but your grading scale on marvel legends is gnarley crazy haha.. you grade them as if you want and expect Marvel legends to get MAFEX quality and accessories.. Thru the years of my collecting marvel stuff as of this day of age marvel legends has already leap boundaries in terms of quality and sculpts. PPL say prices are up and yet PPL also BUY MAFEX where as plastic is LESS than what you get on a ML but sculpt and accessories are more than your average ML. so my point is you get what you paid for. TBH ML is still fairly reasonable.. you can STEP and throw your ML at WALL multiple times this WILL get the job done and live and stand on your display for years... you STEP on a MAFEX say bye bye to your $100 figure. haha
