Is this the BEST tripod for under $50? I'll let you be the judge of that. There are a lot of tripods within this price range on Amazon. THey all look more or less the same. I'll be using the Mactrem PT55 for my KZfaq studio. It's done a great job so far.

@@tocandolaguitarra01 it mounts to the bottom 1/4 thread and will work? Does the M100 screen flip down? If it does then it might get in the way.

Thank you for the video. I just purchased this tripod and the booklet didnt help much on how to do the adjustments. You were straight to the point with honest review.! Now I can start taking photos 📷 ☺

Every photographer in the world still has his first tripod that was almost immediately relegated to the closet and hasn’t been used in years. You may have one. One suggestion if your not using it for long distance treks away from the car don’t get a lightweight one and absolutely no plastic. Get a heavy duty one that firmly anchors your equipment. Going in the ball park of $100 or $200 will get something that lasts and will have a detachable head. One of my first ones I sometimes still use in a pinch is a reasonably priced MeFoto I bought it years ago and it is still going strong. There are better but it still does an adequate job.

Glad the video helped! It's has been a good tripod so far. It's not as solid as my $250 Manfrotto, but I didn't really expect that for just above 10% of the cost haha. Hope it works for you!

for $36 its not bad... but Neewer has one that I think is a little better (taller) for $47. I'm not a huge fan of that center rail crank design or the limited height on the Mactrem but thanks for reviewing it so we know what to look out for.

It would be a huge quality improvement for your channel, if you used both metric and imperial systems in your videos. (Pls. do it for bot the American and normal people as well :D)
