I thought of an alternative idea for making an overall evaluation of the 2 sets of statistics combined. You can convert every duel score to a percentage of the best duel score, then both stats are percentages, and you can add them together. It's like grading on a curve, but Jack Atlas's score is a curve-ruining outlier, so I think I'd pick Jaden's duel score as the reference point that equates to 100% duel score. Apparently academy Island is more effective than most people give it credit for. The one thing that does make these comparisons a little more complicated is that these shows didn't always have the same number of seasons with the lowest being Zexal at 3 and the highest being the original Duel Monsters at 5. Since a lot of season 5 weren't traditional duels and TGS didn't count any of the filler duels in said season and season 3 it is safe to say that GX actually has a natural advantage over the other shows because it has 4 seasons full of viable duels. This makes it even more impressive that Arc-V was able to get so close with only 3 seasons

It makes sense that GX characters tops the Duel Scores (and overall as a series), since GX is the second longest series, but has the most duels, since DM had the Egypt saga, which had only 3 duels. However, I think that Jack's tops the Duel Scores is bit unfair, since he is also in ARC V, and Jack of 5D's and ARC V are not the same character as far I remember.

Got to say I'm loving these statistic videos, keep up the good work. As for my personal favorite series, well that for me is also where my duelist tie comes from: YuGiOh 5Ds with Yusei Fudo and Akiza Izinski. Don't honestly know why, the show and pair just work form me. And with those said, a suggestion for the scoring system came to mind as I was watching all of these. Why not add Win and Lose Streak bonuses? With the streaks adding 2 points for their respective scorings. So after or on the third win it would go from +3 to +5 for each subsequent win as they're now on a win streak that doesn't end until they Draw, Lose or Retire, and increase the loss scoring from -1 to -2 by default so the increase would now go from -2 to -4. And Draws just don't give points unless it's the goal of the duel to begin with, or is made the goal at some point in the duel. Basically normal accidental Draws 0p to Intentional Draws 1p, as I imagine it's harder to Draw when you're actually actively trying to force one and your opponent is trying to stop you, or is disrupting your attempts through their normal play. I feel like this would make the statistics a little more fun/competitive as now their are larger gains and losses for each character, rewarding characters with strong, consistent, duel abilities by giving them really commanding leads they've earned and royally dusting characters who lose all the time and or have really high loss rates. Just I thought I had, not really sure if it's a good, bad, or redundant idea. Probably somehow all three.

Like Yuma when he has Astral, like he didn’t had any L’s I think, otherwise he would lose Astral. Or like Fon Thousand, Vector, The Darkness, Z-One, Rex Goodwin they can’t have many win otherwise it’s the end basically. (Awesome video tho!!)

My faveorite duelist from each series are marik. Aster. Yusei kite Yuri and revolver. For each series. They are just enjoyable duelist in series

When the only people who could beat those who went to a school dedicated to dueling is a world champ that mainly had destiny powers and a generally pretty decent deck that ruled over all of an entire bad part of a city for a while

Missing: Dartz, Aster Phoenix, Velian Crowler, Tyranno Hassleberry, Bastion Misawa, Leo, and Tetsu Trudge.

I have one complaint... where the hell was Leo from 5d’s?!!! He’s one of the most important characters with lots of screen time and about the same number of duels as Luna, plus he develops to become a signer at the end, ya know, that super important thing the whole series was based on! How could you not use him? If he were real, he would be so sad right now. Probably would cry. How could you do that to a fictional child? On a cheerier note, anyone else imagining how Jack Atlas would react if he were told he was statistically the best duellist out of every series? Dude would be so secretly happy, but I’m not sure the world could take how much ego he would exude. (5d’s is my favourite series 😊)

In the Rival Video, if you check the comments, TGS says that he made an error and that Revolver's win percentage was 66.67% not 50% like how he originally claimed. Kind of sad he forgot about that in this video. That alone changes up the rankings as Revolver's win percentage would put him in C tier at 23rd place not 31st place. So at the end of the video, VRAINS might have been higher amongst the other series.

Yubel is one of my favorite characters ever, but sadly she's not actually first She lost to Jaden, while possessing Marcel, in a 2v1 against Jaden & Jesse

Yugioh GX was the series where people were learning to play high level Duel Monsters, not sure of the other series after 5Ds but I'm pretty sure the other series were more street duels(somewhat literally in at least one series) and Tournaments.
