The problem is not black ppl who believe in the bible. There is plenty of evidence that shows biblical events did and are still occurring. The real problem is black ppl believe in religions more than the bible. And all these religions are purposed to lead you away from the truth. The trick is, all these religions in some form, use the bible to validate themselves. However none of them actually follow the bible completely (modern Christianity included). The greatest lies are always a distortion of the truth. Because an effective lie needs to give you a good reason to believe it.
@yadisoloblack

Black ppl will always be slaves to the people of the religions they follow (its what the bible refers to as idolatry when the Israelites worshiped their enemies gods). Black christians are mentally slaves to white ppl while black muslims are mentally slaves to arabs. The mystery of the bible is solved when you find out that so-called black ppl are the real Israelites who are not following the bible. Then even our present circumstances as a people, because of our present idolatry, makes sense. The sad part is the bible has always given us specific instructions on how to prosper as a nation, and many of us are about to through it away.

Its hard for a people to truly be free when they have allowed their oppressor to define their concept of god. We were introduced to bible mythology by slave masters. Thats a problem
@yadisoloblack
@yadisoloblack Жыл бұрын
@@oldschool5 when the monks came to Africa, we were already familiar with biblical concepts & practices within our culture. In fact, they said when observing our way of life, that we were already "better christians" than they were. It is no coincidence that the majority of events that toke place in the bible was in Africa. Or that the bible actually prophesizes their demise along with our salvation. The problem is that we allowed the heathens to re-write our own history book, written by our ancestors, through the inspiration of our God, repackaged and sold right back to us in the form of religions. Otherwise they would have never been able to get our ancestors to listen to something they were not already familiar with (like greek mythology). Once their conquest of the world was complete, they were able to make us forget who we really are (prophesized in psalms 83). Because "black" is not a nationality but only a color. And every other peoples around the world identifies themselves by their nationalities except us.

@@yadisoloblack We might have had the rituals and the customs.. But they wrote a mythology around our customs and rituals that we were not familiar with.. We knew nothing about any of the mythological characters like Adam Moses Abraham Noah and the talking snake. We didnt know about these characters until they told us about them.. If our people knew the bible we would have never accepted White Jesus. The only reason why we accepted White Jesus is because the folks who gave us Jesus gave us White Jesus. We have no literature of a Moses Abraham or any other old testament mythological characters. Christianity is the white mans mythology and you dont have any literature to support anything that you talking about.. You dont have any African bibles that predate the Greek. You dont have any African statues or images of Moses that predate the European.. All we have is a bunch of Brothas who will believe and say anything to stay close to a god that he learned about in English
@yadisoloblack
@yadisoloblack Жыл бұрын
@@oldschool5 there are many biblical writings that predate greek including paleo hebrew. Even the english names you are stating (like adam & moses) have original african translations that are still used in african names to this day. Even the most basic research proves none of these people were white. But if you are only willing to scratch the surface of religious doctrines, you will never see it. Because of your misinformation on the origins you have stated, you seem to be pretty convicted in your stance against a book that you believe the white man made up. So I think it is only best that we peacefully agree to disagree on this topic.

DJ Maintain, my son. It is brave to stand up for common sense. I grew up in Trinidad 1964 to 1984 (went to UK). The bible did not sit with me 'naturally' from about age 6. My home (mother mainly) was very progressive. She 'let me' go to with the neighbours around that age. I suspect now they noticed my family didn't go and asked to take me. After going about twice, I said I didn't want to go, she said "okay" and didn't force it. Other than that, my mother was very strict (a Catholic school teacher her entire work life). Mind you about a year later I gave up on Santa Claus went I found the bike my parents had hidden away for me for Xmas. And I love Jesus (and Muhammad) as men for different reasons. I think Jesus lived like a Rastaman and I respect that. I don't see enough of "what would jesus do ? in the Christian religion particularly (where is the tolerance? where is trashing the temple when it used as a base for exploitation?. Basically and in my humble opinion, something (I don't know exactly what) about the bible seems to enable the worst of oppressors to, simultaneously contradict and 'use' it as a moral code to oppress people. I CANNOT FOLLOW THE MORAL CODE OF MY OPPRESSOR. I am not stupid.

It's very interesting to me that after all this time black people collectively have not returned to the spiritual practices of our ancestors that were around thousands of years before organized religion. Organized religion is a tool to control our minds and our behavior. Start reading about the various different creation stories and deities from different countries in Africa. We can never liberate ourselves from those that oppress us if we are not willing to reject religion that was imposed on us to begin with.

@@MrNanah38 exactly they did not have their freedom they were literally giving a bully there lunch money. The story is they were paying France to not invade again that was the reason France threatened to come back. Justice as bad the u.s. pay those who own slaves reparations and to this day are benefiting. And does not feel that the descendants of slaves are not owed reparations and black Americans are still paying they're in slavers foremost are not self-employed or own companies then manufacture goods and services that we use on a daily. Many things we desire to keep ask history are very present today just more modern way to accomplish the same principles slavery really hasn't went anywhere the prison system is a lucrative model of advanced slavery. Look up how much money is a prisoner is a day and how much money the chain of events that takes place of those who are employed are financial partakers. They are more prisoners in America than they are in all the countries put together. They are companies that they desire for the automobiles and all the resources food to toilet paper the computer that they use to link nationally as well as the gear the officers wear none of these companies we own. So in fact if reparations was paid we would not ultimately be the beneficiary because all services would be paid back to those that hold the resources. Sorry but they can't see helping us helps them.🤔❓

That have no explanation, and the people there can't even explain them smh. There's unexplained super old art, advanced buildings/structures, evidence of odd rituals, and huge pictures drawn in the desert areas you can only see from waaay up in the sky. Pretty much anything you look up is all about when Christianity or Islam was introduced smh. I don't want to see that crap. In somalia, I don't care about no Arab crap. I want to learn about punt. I want to hear about ancient somali culture and language. Ethiopia, screw Jesus! Tell me about the queen of Shiba. Ethiopian culture pre Christianity/islam. Ethiopians and Egyptians were known in the ancient world as master builders. I want to learn about those pre historic, amazing structures all over Ethiopia just sitting there. There's unexplained ancient stuff in Uganda as well. The people there don't even know anything about it. Outside of some vague folklore. After being colonized or taking on new religions. Where they tell a story of their journey from ethiopia to the place called India they live in now. If you look at the natives of India. They look just like Ethiopians. The ancient architecture is also very similar. Black history has been soooo buried and lost smh. You talk to your average somali or Ethiopian. They won't know anything about what we talking about. @@THIZZAVELI I mean Somali people do you know about Waaq. Unfortunately, after the Civil War, a radical form of religion entered the national conscience. Of course it helped that those people had a lot of funding from the Arab peninsula. So even the popular Islamic interpretations Somalia practiced became eradicated. They destroyed ancient Islamic monuments and anything they deemed newly “unislamic”. There have been efforts for a long time to fight against that but collapse prevented that type of cohesion. They have always wanted to convert Muslims to their interpretation. They fund the building of all these different mosques in poor Islamic countries and then teach them their interpretation. Islam reached Somalia before that interpretation even existed. So Somali people were not practising that variation and would actually go so far as to adopt a more mystical approach. As with many ancient civilizations, new religions didn’t necessarily eradicate old customs. Even the British in the 1800s were confused about the version of Islam they were practising as the men and women were not separated. Since this is all relatively new, there are still videos and photos of Somalia with people in traditional Somali dress. People in the diaspora still wear it. But the women in Somalia are forced to wear full coverings in public for safety reasons. They still own traditional Somali clothing. Hopefully, with some stability, things will return to being a lot less conservative. Unfortunately, this radical interpretation has now spread to people in the diaspora. So it’s not really considered alien interpretation but rather becoming pious. It’s really frustrating.

1 Peter 4:12-16 KJV [12] Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: [13] But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. [14] If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye ; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. [15] But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. [16] Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

May I correct one of your guest. Christian religion is not from a western country, however during the Roman empire they cleverly took the history of this Middle eastern/African religion and rewrite it to their advantage. Hence most books and prophets are missing in today's western and Eastern bible.

I think we all agree. Both Christianity and Islam. Are born from the Old Testament "Judaism". Literature from one group of people during the "Bronze age". A fairly weak group of people amongst many others. With their own religious beliefs. My question is when you study the history of the Bible? And understand its origins. How can you believe or have faith? In any of the previously mentioned religions.

Great, great topic! And eff that, Kenganda! I agree with the title! Christianity has DEFINITELY made us weak! I used to be part of the Hebrew Israelite community. I studied the Bible in its entirety for almost 4 years, and I still study it to this day. Although I know they are a controversial group, the one thing that drew a lot of blacks in the Diaspora to them because we believed in a Christ that looked like us based on certain scriptures they pulled. When you see yourself in a religion, you learn to love yourself and your race that much more. Whether its Christianity or Muslims, neither have a black face as their mascots, so to speak. It plays a huge role in the African psyche and how we treat each other.

I don't think Christianity is the answer. It's not an empowering religion. It tells you to put everything on Jesus. It tells you that you're born less than. It tells you to just pray. There is nothing uplifting about any of that.

I grew up in a Christian family when i was ten years i lost my mother who was and still is the only biological parent i know and my auntie took me and raised me and she later started her own church and i was raised to be a pastor i did it all preaching house to house street to street city to city age of 16 i accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savor baptised but all this while i always had a problem with the religion but i just couldn't place my hand on what was the problem later i moved from Port Elizabeth to cape town later while in cape town i joined the Rastafari movement but still had the same problem the movement felt more like the Christian religion the defferent was Christians worship Jesus Christ who for many years has been white and later became olive and now he has no color coz all of a sudden no one knows what color he was and his name does not matter on the other hand Rastafari movement worship Haile Silasie I as God in flesh some say he is the second coming of Jesus Christ they worship a black man So i then sat and looked at both of them and there was some truth on the Rastafari movement but the problem was they were only thinking outside the box now the thing is there is actually no defferent between someone who think inside the box and the one who thinks outside the box they both have the box the one who thinks inside the box his thinking is only measured by the box and the one who thinks outside the box his thinking is not measured by the box but as long as the box is still there he will always make reference to the box what does the box say am i in line with the box that is the Rastafari movement problem so i kept on searching asking questions controversial questions read the scripture search history coz i came to overstanding that to overstand scripture you need to learn history And i realized that actually we've been played One the scripture is black man history but they took it and made it thier history and called it the holy bible the characters in the scripture were black people from Adam to the Messiah YAHAWAHSHI HAMASHIAK whom they also changed to Jesus Christ all of them were black people the three sons of Noah were all black Japhet was black shem was black ham was black they should tell people the truth of how the white race came to be coz the Most High did not create the white man scripture say he made man from the ground show me a white ground and he said let us make man in our image according to our likeness the most high is black the Messiah is black the children of YAHSHAR AL/ISRAEL are black people now not all black people are YAHSHAR AL/ISRAEL some are just Shemites some Hebrew and some from the line of ham so even when you hear them say blacks also sold blacks know that not all blacks were meant to go into slavery it was specifically for the children of Ya'acab/Jacob for it is through them all Nations kindred and tongue will be saved but that does not include the white race if you think im being racist or what read the book of Obadiah, you see Esau mixed himself with the fallen angels the serpents and him and the seed of the fallen angels which also includes his seed met the descendents of Japhet in Greece and whited them out the scripture tells us the Greecians/Japhet and the Edomites/Edom/Esau became one kingdom in Greece the book of Obadiah tells us that Edom/ Esau for the violence he persecuted against his brother shall all be destroyed and none shall remain for his seed

I see alot of people state that Christianity is a European religion when it is not. The first church came into existence in Egypt not Israel or Europe. Ethiopia is not the the only place in Africa that practiced christianity in ancient times the kingdoms of Makuria and Nobadia in present day Sudan. Also other North African kingdoms all practiced Christianity before the incursion of islam. That was centuries before the Byzantine empire adopted(hijacked) it and it spread to Europe. The whole foundation of Christianity that is practiced today by the Church comes from St. Augustine a North African( that doesn't mean he was white either. The only picture's you'll will see of were made after his death). So Christianity is essentially African. Yall never heard of St. Moses or St. Maurice? They were both black from Egypt and gave their lives for it. There are others to. The white Jesus you see today is a Italian man named Cesar Borgia who lived way after the fact. So if you worship that picture your not worshipping Jesus. The people in power knew that europeans would not worship someone who did not look like them so they created a white Jesus. Oshay was right in what he was saying about a Jesus that looks like you even though there is a verse in bible about graven images but if it would empower you to do better go for it because the bible also says faith without works is dead. You cant just pray, go to church, and expect God to change things for you. You have to do the work for God to bless you.
