Not all people who are handicapped are jerks. So are these stereotypes this shows perpetuates. I feel there is such a shallowness in this show that Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created because they do not have much serious and instead go a bit too far with the comedy part. Like where Sheldon tells Alex Jensen and Janine Davis that "all women are slaves to their desires". Is that not shallow there? And then, there is the stupid stereotype that all women who have blonde hair are "dumb" and as for here, they kind of take being rich for granted especially in a much later episode where Bert Kibbler gets a bit too cocky with the money he got from the grant as the money apparently got him to thinking he is on cloud nine.

They're not billionaires. Sheldon always talks down to people, and assumed they could only understand big numbers if he associated them with cartoon characters he thinks are "more everyone else's speed". That's the way he's always been. They're rich, but fear of his assassination or kidnapping alone would have earned Raj a permanent security detail at least (if they actually were billionaires).
