What I love about the presenters is: One buys hoopties and has them fixed Second buys hoopties and fixes them Third buys expensive hoopties had drives them broken These three guys embody what we all do and why we do it, all in different proportions to how we feel and our own style. Okay, here me out for a Car Trek idea. You do the Cannonball, but your time starts where you first have to use Auto Tempest to find and buy a car in NYC with a limited budget. Than have multiple stops along the route where you do various challenges. Add up all the time between checkpoints to see who wins. The checkpoints also give you an opportunity to catch up for competitions and to be together, and rest/repairs to what are hopefully very broken cars.

My idea; Start in NYC with an American car change to an European car in Illinois then change to a Oriental car in Texas/Kansas/Nebraska(I-40/I-70/I-80) and drive to the finish ,with 2 challenges in each car along the way.

Take more risks by using adventurous locations to record instead of staying in boring locations (e.g., taking cheap used exotics to places they would normally end up, like a dodgy Central or South American country). If you're even partially cloning Top Gear, use the winning formula

I love this series! My dream for Car Trek would be an episode where the guys meet their inspirations: "Car Trek Meets The Grand Tour", although I'm pretty sure that it would break the internet! But how awesome would that be? Also, kudos to Freddie... his resurrection of that McLaren is no less than epic! It is a gorgeous car, and the fact that he is willing to take it out and drive it like it was a rental Mustang is even more epic! To say that I am looking forward to the next installment is such an understatement...

I kept thinking how sweet it could be if Freddie could go back and tell Maxima Freddie that in a few years he would be living the dream for all of us. Maybe you guys need a time speed distance rally challenge with PAPER maps to introduce some fun co drivers for the next next one? What if you took modern super cars but on tire sizes from the 80's? Jesus... I can't believe how close Tyler came to wrecking that priceless Mercedes C111!!! Thank God THAT didn't happen. I could tell he was super nervous, and I'm sure that extremely stiff Mercedes mechanic that had the personality of a cactus sitting right next to him certainly made him even less comfortable. Well, this latest season of Car Trek is probably my favorite! Thanks, guys!

Having visited Carmel every year for the last 22 years as my grandparents retired and bought a house on scenic drive 3 blocks off ocean.(that’s how their address is literally written) and choosing to visit them during the fabled car week, making for me being the poorest person to claim residency during that week on the beach. I can say even the worst examples of cars can SHINE like a diamond among the trees, bluffs, sand, stucco on ocean, and especially within the gates of the 17 mile drive.

That Ferrari is just so achingly beautiful. The fact that it's not on the usual wire wheels makes it more attractive, and I didn't even think that was possible. That Hammer is just perfection. I thought Tavarish upgraded the turbos, downpipes, exhaust, and tune. Wouldn't it make more than the 750HP he mentioned in the last episode? Shouldn't a 675LT with those mods make closer to 900?

The alloys like those are standard, the borrani wires are an option. However the Borranis are still made so often get swapped on if replacement wheels are needed

Now this is America's Top Gear. The McLaren 675 LT looks the best of the three. This Audi R8 is the best color of any R8 I've ever seen. In a old episode of Top Gear, Richard Hammond drove a 458 Spider James May drove a gunmetal metallic Audi R8 Spider, and Jeremy Clarkson drove a bright yellow McLaren, where they went to cost of Spain. The Ferrari 458 had lots of wear and cracks on the body panels. I was surprised to see JWW and Jason Cammisa make a cameo appearance. Thanks.

This series sucked balls lol. Most of the time they were driving someone else's car, 90% of the shots were the same b-rolls shot again and again at different places and they barely did anything in this series.

They have managed to capture the spirit of the good top gear better than any other attempt including all the other top gears. It's actually kind of fascinating how similar these three are when keeping the three dudes from top gear in mind and while I know some aspects of this are purposefully similar to top gear you kind of can't fake it when it comes to personalities and relationships and these guys kind of have the same thing going on that the other three dudes we all have come to love have going on.

Dear Tavarish....I saw on a Rich rebuilds video when he came to visit you that you had an Alpine 310..I really hope you'll work on this car soon..it deserves a great motor (better than the stock PRV)...hope you start to consider working on this beauty..!!..the stance of this car 'with the proper suspension & damping + wheels) is just amazing..it has something not too many older gen sport car have...a soul...

Another great Car Trek gents! That Ferrari 275GTB 4 CAM is stunning! I would be intimidated driving a $3M dollar car. I first that the Mercedes at the end was a Bricklin.
