I had a double-wide Karen try to kick me off of MY beach. 😳 It was mid-summer, and I live in Maine. I lived on a private road with a private beach. There were 3 or 4 others on the road, and 1 of the owners rented out their home to tourists. 😒 I decided to swim at the beach, and this beluga whale comes waddling out of her camp screeching that this was HER beach, and we better leave before she called the cops. I told her to stick it in her giant craw...and kept swimming. She's just flapping her arms and screaming for what seemed like hours. Finally some guy comes out, tells her to knock it off apologizes to us. I said, "Ty...but its no problem...though I'd probably keep and eye on that cow so she doesn't jump the fence again. He goes, "Yeah...my wife can be a little abrasive. Oh damn...did NOT realize that was his wife lol What I found hysterical is he didn't defend her honor...like..at ALL. 😄

Kudos to the 12 year old boy and his parents for teaching him right and stand up against that woman. When I was 12 years old, I was raised to be submissive to adults. I wouldn't dare speak to any adult like that, no matter how wrong whey were. I wouldn't have known about my right to personal property or to record people in public spaces, and even if I did, if an adult told me to put away my phone, the response would be "OK."

As someone who works in the hospitality sector I can tell you something. We aren't the ones who need danger pay, the Karen's are. Every time they insult an employee they are dancing with the grim reaper with one foot in the grave.

Like we were sitting there having a chat about mental health issues we were going through, not being loud or anything like that. We ignored her, we knew she can't do anything. She called the cops, they came and told her to leave cause she had filmed it and they saw it. In the video we were just sitting there chatting. I laughed it off with my friend after she left.

Here’s my theory about how Karen’s could potentially contribute to society now. Here’s my pitch: We will gather a certain amount of Karen’s onto a island, yes actual Karen’s (and give them housing, water and power if the budget is generous) we will let them interact with each other and we gonna turn it into a tv show (on Friday night if possible) and each episode we are gonna give them a subject and a activity and sit back, relax and watch the Karen magic happen. Heck give them a Karen’s dinner on the island if you want to turn up the spice. They are doing this for our entertainment and then somewhere on the lines we can help them realise how stupid they sound and when they are no longer showing Karen bs we can give them a ceremony and make it official with the ceremony being “you are no longer a Karen” and allow them back to society. It’s wound be kinda like a “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here” Karen edition (kinda).
