I totally checked this bike out at the Lego shop, but got sticker shock. Awesome to see the whole procress, from unboxing to finish. Plus, it is totally adorable going up the ramp 😁

I gifted my dad a Lego BMW R1200GS for his birthday a few years ago so he had his bike on the garage and also a miniature version of it at home. It looks awesome and the details are next level with a functioning telelever and paralever, and even moving engine pistons when pushing the bike 🏍

my lego ducati panigale v4r would like to have a word, the panigale has working pistons, suspension, etc the same. All lego technique are like that.

We gifted a friend an M1000RR from Lego last summer and he LOVED IT!! It took him quite a few days, little by little, and it looks amazing once it's done =D What is SUPER FUNNY to me, is that even though that is a Lego kit. Technically that "bike" is still a 200cc motorbike. Meaning, you would need an A2 license if you could ride it hahahaha

I've got the ducati (and a bunch of technic cars) but can't justify the price tag of this bike, and I've still got a Ferrari 488 to build. A word of warning, over time the stickers start to degrade and lift. They are fine for a few years then start to go bad (even if kept in a display cabinet)

If they wanted to justify the price, all pieces should have been printed. However, the process isn't always perfect because some molds leave a grainy texture to the brick surfaces and the print would not be neat. It's still a downside for this set, even the 10295 Porsche 911 has printed pieces, and it costs less

I love the set and technic sets in general, but for $250 or so, they really need to stop putting stickers on these and just have the design "printed" on the "blocks" already.

One thing I will say about building this bike is the instructions left you to your own imagination sometimes. I consider this one more difficult than the Bugatti build

I bought this set a month ago. It is already my favorite set. It was a little challenging, but fun to build if you stretch it out over a few days. The size of the model just amazes everybody who sees it.

I've built the McLaren F1 and have to complain about the stickers, is the worst part. Highly recommend for anyone who saw this video and thought (this looks fun), just grab a set and build it! It's really fun!

That thing might be longer than my full size keyboard that I am using yo type this, jeez, for a lego bike that sure is kinda big, it really does look small in the video. But I do not have the patience to build that thing, nor do I want to spend 240€ on something that I am going to build once and then look at it for the rest of it's life.

Isn't that the wrong firing order for the engine? Shouldn't cylinders 1+4 and 2+3 be in line? Or am I missing something and that's how the bmw engine works

It's just how the motors go together. All the lego motors work the same way.

@@quinnkirlew9892 i wouldn't say they are going for mechanical accuracy, they are just going for a general representation. You could also complain it only has 4 gears and that the gearbox doesn't have a half click for neutral and works in a different way, and there's no clutch. I'm sure the suspension travel isn't to scale either. You're probably 1 of a very small number of people who are bothered by the fact that a toy isn't a true, 100% accurate scale model.

Burh my cycle is 20k ₹ bassicaly same price and itmgoes 40kmph (testest as a kid) and you can buy a model kit of a random jdm euro car or hyperbikes with more detail of half price soo it is not for me even if i am a bmw fan

I know it might sound like sacrilege, but then again LEGO themselves have done it. But often with projects like this they are amazing but are either flimsy or hard to make out shapes. I have a 3D printer and I often print fairings and covers or custom lego pieces for support to make these projects look better and i can definitely see a few areas I'd improve on this model. Looks amazing none the less...

Hillariously i never like the technic models cause they look like crap. Janky as all hell. The lego models however look great (i got the Ferrari F40 and it rules)
