A word of caution to everyone: Remember to always check your local regulations before using exotic live bait like this to make sure it isn't actually illegal. Goldfish are a highly invasive and destructive species so even just using them for live bait is sometimes classed as intentionally releasing an invasive species which can result in some hefty fines or even potentially jail time. This is because if they come off the hook they can survive and breed etc (they are surprisingly hardy against that kind of injury) so again, check your state and local regulations before doing anything like this, especially if you are going to be filming yourself doing it.

I would never use a goldfish as bait because if thry get off the hook and not eaten, they can take over wherever they are. Not good.

Always enjoy your videos and how excited you are to catch anything! I would love to see you do a weekend trip to the Sandusky Bay on Lake Erie. I just went there for the first time with my kids. Once the sun set so many channel catfish started to hit I could hardly handle 2 rods at once. Will also get double digit catfish!
