Why do they think they always got to show jesus as some white man just doesn't seem realistic. Im confused though where were the nephites in 3 nephi when jesus appeared if this took place in 37 ad? Are they in Jerusalem? Or the Americans and when he appeared did this mean he appeared to the disciples in 37 ad like in the book of Acts on the otherside of the world?

No, He is perfect. Perfection is not of the world. Just feel it. The only difference is Jesus Christ has blue eyes. I have seen it !There are paintings depicting the Savior. Look at Brent Borup's picture of Christ. I have seen Him, and it has shaped my life. Brent Borup has captured his likeness so well!
