Luke helping Grogu remember order 66 is a nod to legends, where he offered his wife, in legends, Mara Jade, to remember her parents, since she didn’t remember them, but she kindly refused his help. Not sure how that ability is similiar to or different than Psycometry, because Luke’s usecases where distant memories, that the person he used it on didn’t remember themselves, physometry is just a moment that happened, linked to a character who remembers it, when touching an object, though Ahsoka just used it in the Ahsoka show without touching anything, but I’d say Luke’s version is still way more powerful.

The amount of good material we are getting with these Star Wars TV series is simply mind boggling. Far more than we would have gotten even from an extended edition trilogy and half a dozen stand alone movies. It's becoming obvious the miniseries route was the right call, story wise.

Cad has beef with Boba in 1 out of the 10 cancelled Clone Wars arcs, which Disney sadly cancelled after their Star Wars takeover in 2014. In that arc Boba and Bane had a standoff where they shot each other in the head, which created the dent in Boba's helmet, but both survived. And as you can see in the Bad Batch show Bane now has a metal plate at his head where he got shot, which is why I think that arc is still canon. Btw, among these cancelled (on screen) CW arcs were amazing stories like "Son of Dathomir" and "Dark Disciple", which I would absolutely love to see return to screen, alongside their duell.

Can we all just acknowledge the fact that Dave Filoni is inserting his OC Star Wars fan fiction characters into actual Star Wars lore and making good Star Wars content by doing this.

Did you just call Clone Wars, which George Lucas executive produced and created with Dave Filoni, who directed it too, and Rebels, which Dave Filoni produced, wrote and directed, Fanfiction and not ''actual Star Wars lore''? You know that they're just as canon and actual as live-action shows, right?

Imagine Adam Drivers face, asleep but flinching from a dream, flashes of Kylo Ren, Palpatine, Rey and the death of Han Solo wakes him feverish and shaken by a dream. Another character is seen in the opening of his hut, "wake up we are going to be late" Adam Driver's character says "I just had a terrible dream, Palpatine was alive, and I turned to the dark side and killed my own father, and there was a girl and my name was... Ben" The other character laughs and says I like the part about a girl and I always knew you wanted to be me, ha ha! Adam Drivers character says you're tight I'm Bail Solo and you are definitely Ben Skywalker....

They HAVE to go with the Ahsoka timeline theory where the sequel trilogy is a timeline where Ahsoka was killed by Vader and wasn't there to help Din Djarin wich would have lead to the death of Grogu, Bo-Katan and Din Djarin by the Darktrooper, explaining why there was no mandalorian in the sequel and why we could hear Ahsoka's voice in the Rise of Skywalker. So this new timeline (the Filoni verse) happens because of Ezra Bridger from Rebel when he saved Ahsoka in the World between world episode. If Ahsoka succeed in saving Ezra (wich we hear nothing about in the sequels) that would be one more jedi to add to Luke Skywalker school. And with their help Luke wouldn't need to face Palpatine alone, the events of the movies could be totally different. That's what I'm hoping for at least... Gosh I don't want a depressed Luke to die alone on a island after loosing everything

I'm hoping Eric understands this as well. Even the future timeline of Luke and his Academy is susceptible to change also. Grogu is now the first student instead of Ben Solo. The plan to recreate Snoke has been foiled with their fail attempt of capturing Grogu. I don't believe they've retconned the Rey timeline. They're letting both universes exist in two separate timelines in parallel (like how dc & marvel have multiverses). Star Wars has branched into two universes/timelines. Here Luke has Ahsoka for guidance and become more experienced as a teacher after training Grogu.

As far as I know, in the comics Kylo actually didn't kill anybody at the acadamy (directly) but everybody thought he did. 3 of his fellow jedi students arrived after the academy was destroyed by some kind of lightning strike and jedi Kylo was standing in front of it without really knowing what was going on. The 3 students start attacking him, thinking he destroyed the academy and so he defends himself but without the intetntion of hurting or killing any of them. Kylo was definitely not sith Anakin in that regard.

The good thing is they have a way to do that. All they have to do is use the World Between Worlds from Rebels; have certain individuals see the 'future' of Episodes 7-9, and change those events so that a different future comes to pass. So basically they have a canon way to make those movies non-canon, but whether or not they'll actually do that remains to be seen.

I believe Grogu will choose the armor because, as Luke stated, Grogu will outlive Din so he can always train as a Jedi after Din dies. That being said, I believe Din will ultimately go to Mandalore and bathe or drink the Living Waters of Mandalore. The Living Waters will accept Din enabling him to claim he's a true Mandalorian. I also believe that before Din can stop him Grogu will also bathe/drink of the Living Waters and also be accepted as a Mandalorian. This will enable him to become the next Mandalorian Jedi. Now after his Jedi training I don't think Grogu will go after the Dark Saber because that would mean he would have to rule Mandalore for the rest of his life and I can't see that happening.
@Lustie
@Lustie 2 жыл бұрын
I think the popular theory is that Grogu will choose mando and Luke will bring Grogu to mando but they arrive while mando, fett and the others are in a major conflict. And this conflict will make Grogu realize that he can’t protect the ones he cares about unless he’s trained by Luke to become a Jedi and then go back with Luke in the final episode. Or at least I really hope this is what happens.

10:26 Disney is going to connect what's happening now to episodes 7, 8 and 9, you know? You may not like it now or how things ended, but I'm confident that Dave and Jon have a plan to make them better at least. I think you're approach to last week's episode is the right one, to think of Boba as the original Mandalorian, which he was. Still, I think many misinterpret Return of the Mandalorian. Many associate it with Din since he's the central character of the episode, but when you look at the story, particularly the parts with the Armorer, she's talking about Mandalore's past and future. Mandalore's past was dark before it found piece and it took a special person to do that, and to Mandalorians, one person would be "the Mandalorian," Tarre Vizsla. I don't see him returning, but we heard enough about him and folklore to assume that Mandalore's future lies in the three most prominent Mandalorians, Boba Fett, Din and Grogu. We've known since Clone Wars that houses/clans were big among Mandalorians, and we learn last week just how important being part of one means to Mandalorians. It's what Din wanted most of all, which is why it hurt him so much when Children of the Watch turned their backs to him. A Mandalorian of no clan or house is a nobody, which is how Mandalorians treat Boba Fett and we witnessed that in the second season of the Mandalorian. Boba is held accountable for Jango's betrayal and the actions of the Clone Troopers. Boba's flashbacks always started/ended with him watching his father leaving on Slave-1, leaving him behind. I think this is a visual showing how Boba felt. This series starts in the Geonosis arena with Boba Fett picking up his father's helmet--Boba has been alone since he was 12 years old. Mandalore wanted nothing to do with him, which is explains why he was always so angry in the Clone Wars and likely why he is described as the most feared and ruthless bounty hunter in the prequels. Boba was a Mandalorian recognized by no one that mattered and a Mandalorian with no home or people. I can even imaging how that must have felt. "Fate sometimes steps in to rescue the wretched." --Boba Fett Surely, that's not a throwaway line. The Jawas left Boba to die, but the Tuskens brought him back to their camp to live. Many of us misread the Tusken's intentions because we had 40 years of stories told by Off-Worlders we cared about tell us that the Tuskens were bad news. Turns out, that when they're allowed to tell their own story, they aren't as bad as Off-Worlders made them out to be--something many indigenous people the world over can relate to, I'm sure. The Tuskens bound Boba for their own safety, as they didn't know how he'd react when he came to his senses and discovered that he was surrounded by Tuskens--his kind kill Tuskens and sight. Many of us thought the Rodian with Boba was nuts, but I think it's clear now that he was already starting to understand that the Tuskens were harmless and trying to help. If Boba and the Rodian were really being enslaved, why did the Tuskens leave him with a child? Why did they let the child go out into the dessert with two captives to gather food for the camp? Boba and the Rodian were guests of the tribe, but they still how to earn the share. Communication was a problem and Boba showed that he lacked warrior type skills, so he and the Rodian were relegated to gathering food for the whole camp, which is likely why the Tusken youngling got pissed when Boba drank before everyone else could. Boba didn't get what was happening until the Tusken youngling tried to save his life by attacking the sand creature. The youngling could have left, but instead it attacked and tried to help. Boba and the Rodian were in his care and he was going to help anyway he could. Boba's heroism showed the Tuskens that he can be trusted and that he was more than they originally thought, as such they opened more of their culture to him. For a man who was never accepted, this meant a lot and I think that's why Boba stayed. For the first time in his life, he was truly accepted and they expected nothing from him. All they wanted from him was for him to be himself and open to their culture which he was. The Tuskens fixed a broken man and made him whole. Boba is literally wrapped in the cultures that shaped him. He proudly wears his Mandalorian armor with his Tusken robes. He also carries his Gaffi stick with himself into battle with his Mandalorian weapons. In the same Yoda finished Obi-Wan's training for Luke, the Tuskens finished Jango's training for Boba. Boba finally was finally part of a house, a clan. The three Tuskens he was often around were reflection of who he was and what he was destined to become: the Tusken youngling was inquisitive and brave, just as Boba was on Kamino; the Tusken Warrior was a skilled warrior as Boba was in the OT; and the Tusken chieftain is the man Boba now aspires to be. Boba came back to Tatooine to start a family (clan) in Jabba's palace, which is now his house and his house is filling with all sorts of people that normally would have nothing to do with one another--turns out Boba is a unifier, like Tarre Vizsla was. "The songs of eons past foretold of the Mythosaur rising up to herald a new age of Mandalore." --the Armorer I don't know about you, but I think Boba is going to evoke this image when he rides his rancor into Mos Espa. How fitting would it be for an outcast to be Mandalore's savior? Not to mention the guy who first taught us about the Mythosaur in the first place. Din might have been the star of last week's episode on the surface, but I don't think the episode was all about him. This week is continue with Din because Boba is only 1/3 of Mandalore's future. Grogu, Din's foundling, is the last 1/3. And he's the one of the three that is most like Tarre Vizsla, in that he too had been trained by Jedi masters on Coruscant. Grogu's memories and age suggest that Grogu has been trained for at least 20 years, and his security detail suggests that he was someone important. We're all thinking he's a child because the story implies that he is, but is he really? Yoda and Obi-Wan showed us that the best thing for Jedi to do during that time was to run and hide, and be anything but a Jedi. Weirdly enough Yoda and Obi-Wan did the same thing on different world, being know for or playing the part of a crazy old men that people should stay away from. Grogu might have done something different. what if his way of surviving was to suppress his own memories, keeping them safe deep in his mind through the Force? Luke might have been the very person Grogu needed to help himself break free from the self-induced Force memory suppression. When Luke is going through a lightsaber kata, Grogu looks at Luke like he's remembering. Even Luke mentions to Ahsoka that Grogu seems to be remembering more than Luke actually teaching him anything. I think we're going to see Grogu back to himself, the way he was before Order 66 next week, and I think we'll see him join the fight on Tatooine as a Mandalorian and with the Darksaber. "Always get back up." --Luke Skywalker to Grogu I think this is going to be paid off next week too. This might be the moment when it's revealed that Grogu is wearing beskar under his robes. I don't know what's going to happen next week, but I bet it's going to be epic.

You guys have to remember Kylos rampage doesn’t happen for another 30+ years Asoka would be 60+ by then and grogu would be in his 80s which would be like his very young pre teen life so he could still be somewhere else mando would be really old like 70+ probably retired with grogu probably watching out for him tell he outlives him

During the order 66 flash back for Grogu it was Barris Offee’s crest on the right side wall indicating either her room or prison cell in the Jedi temple she was the fallen padawan of Jedi master Luminara and Ahsokas former best friend , she appears in clone wars and episode 3 revenge of the sith and is the one who got Ahsoka expelled from the Jedi order after framing her

"The sequels never happpened ... the sequels NEVER happened. You just have to look at it that way" yes, Yes, YES!!! Subscribed! I think for the sake of the future of the Star Wars franchise Grogu will be trained by Luke. Because of the mess created by the sequels storyline, he will leave and join Din and become the second to fuse the Mandalorian with the Jedi. He will eventually become the one to train the 'new' Jedi with a more complete/balanced understanding of the force. I don't really get why Luke would force Grogu to choose one over the other using the old Jedi logic of no attachments. It was his attachments that saved his friends and sister from Vader and his attachment/love for his father that was the catalyst for Anakin's redemption and the downfall (don't get me started lol) of the Sith/Emperor Palpatine. It's a shame the sequels forced Luke into such an illogical arc. I'm sure at some point Star Wars gets a reboot and I hope I live to see that changed. I'd like to think that R2 is the one to save Grogu - although judging by the memory we see, perhaps Anakin steps in and sends the clone troopers away and quietly spares him. I can't see Yoda or Mace making it there and not being discovered and hunted down. I do hope it's revealed Yoda is Grogu's father, but then again all these Jedi with secret relationships doesn't really make sense when they teach a rigid "no attachments" dogma. Surely Grogu's could do much to fix the Jedi position to recognize the importance of family, love & commitment. I've never been a fan of the idea of detachment/un-caring (imo) as we saw in the Clone Wars when Ahsoka was trapped during a battle with another padawan and deemed lost. Anakin refused to give up the search when the other Jedi master seemed to have an "oh well ... too bad they died" attitude. Anakin's determination to keep looking was rewarded by Ahsoka's rescue. I hope future Star Wars lore does much to adopt a Jedi value system that is more wholesome and less murky than the one that led to their downfall. Enjoyed your reaction!

Luke WANTS Grogu to pick the chainmail, to show he has no fear of attachments (like Luke with Han Leia & Chewie). then he'll give him the lightsaber & still offer to train him if he ever wants to. that scene is a misdirect all day, imho. it worked on a ton of people too, by the looks of it. unless it's not & i'm wrong. :D & if i was Filoni & Favreau, to attempt to explain TLJ Luke, i'd have Ahsoka Ezra Cal & Grogu all die & him not be able to save them. he'll never turn to the dark side so cutting himself off from everything & everyone would make a teeny bit of sense. & Ahsoka is Dave's character at heart, so if she's gonna die (& she can't live forever, sadly) then Dave will be the one to do it. i can honestly see Ahsoka's death coming somewhere in all of this huge Ahsoka/Thrawn/Ezra/Tantiss/cloning thing it (looks a lot like) they're setting up & ngl, i'd be ok with it. & the 'sequels never happened' stuff is still funny to me. i get it, they're an ill-thought out plan-free mess but they ain't going anywhere so i'd be doing my best to hope these talented folks with actual plans can make more sense of them than hoping they go up in smoke. Dave improved the prequels (widely derided whey they were released, esp by old farts like me - i love them now) & if given the time & space for whatever content he thinks can do it, will do the same again for the sequels. i've 0% doubt in my mind. with that said, why should he? people bleated about the lack of connectivity & plan with the sequels & now they're getting tv shows that deliver it in SPADES there are STILL people bleating (Mando - too much filler. Boba, dull & why is Mando here?) so tbh, if he decided to sack it all off & leave, i wouldn't blame him.

@@paulmurphy4723 I think you're right about John & Dave going above and beyond trying to make sense (in a Lucas sort of way) of the logical mess of the sequels. I've always been a "Star Wars" fan from the very beginning (even saw the broadcast of the infamous Christmas special) and wasn't overly critical of the prequels (didn't care for Jar-Jar & some of the dialogue, but oh well), young Ahsoka, killing off Han, Leia's "Mary Poppins" moment, etc. .... BUT what they did to Luke in TLJ left me furious coming out of the theater. I get the need to move on from the old characters to the new, but they assassinated the character of Luke by suggesting he was ready to kill his nephew rather than continue to reach him like he did with his father in RotJ. Luke was the eternal optimist when it came to 2nd chances. I'm not sure where current canon stands, but in the legends timeline even Leia couldn't forgive Vader but Luke held on to the hope that good was still in the heart of his father. I also didn't like the feeling that politics entered in to the sequel movies. I think that George Lucas intended his stories to present moral truths & reveal complex dilemas in a way similar to earlier shows geared toward children of his generation (I'm not quite in his age bracket). I'm all for that, but to me the sequels were not well thought out (or supervised from the top making sure it fit in with the current and future plans for the lore). I feel lazy writing and directing plagued episodes 7 - 9. In addition to Luke's giving up on the force, his response to Rey handing over Anakin's lightsaber & hearing of Han's death, her training (or lack thereof), his attitude toward Kylo/Ben & cockiness during their 'fight', the point of Yoda's force ghost's interaction with Luke, the motivation for Kylo killing his father, the unimaginative plot behind Star-killer base & it's destruction, Snoke's storyline, etc. there's so much they could have/should have done. Instead they alienated the fan base, underutilized and underdeveloped their characters/actors both old & new, and relied to heavily on name recognition to carry the day and cover up the lack of enthusiasm & commitment by some of the higher ups. Dave & John are doing a wonderful job of story telling and incorporating cutting edge tech as well as bringing new and experienced directors into the Star Wars family. They should have been given the reins from the very beginning. At any rate, I'm enjoying much of the newer works and was never one to 'bash' the prequels, Rogue One, Solo, etc. The sequel's storyline I could do without. I feel sorry for the new cast and how they were treated. Hopefully, Disney and Lucas have learned a lesson and John & Dave are given greater roles in the lore moving forward. They seem to be doing a fine job of weaving all these stories into a master web that's delighting true fans, new & old alike.

@@jeremyraymer i won't disagree re the sequels. they were an unplanned mess. i'm also of a mind that the only way to 'improve' them is to make them less messy by doing all this. and i honestly think they are 'doing all this'. from Tantiss & Weyland in The Bad Batch to the cloning tanks in Mando, Luke's temple here & everything that's to come, i'm certain that anything Filoni is involved with is going down exactly that route. he won't *save* them but as someone who grew up with the OT & sneered at the prequels (cos SW rhymes even when people are shitting on stuff. there's nothing new in the world) but has since come to love them on their own AND then love them even more due to TCW, i trust that he's got it in him to do the very best job of anyone we could wish to try. & i agree re Luke but as i said, since Wednesday i've been growing this sneaking suspicion that we're gonna see a reason for Luke's disenfranchisement IN these shows somewhere, at some point in the next 5 years. and it'll be fkn heartbreaking too, i just know it. along with a shit-ton of other SUPERB Star Wars, by the looks of it. & being an old fart i've lived through both dry spells so i'm never gonna complain about any SW content again tbh. :D p.s i'm reading through legends chronologically atm - started Jan 2021 & am currently on Allies from FotJ so have 8 books left (i read all the short stories & comics too like a mad bastard!!) - & not so long back in one book not long after SPOILER SPOILER Mara had died Luke said 'what do people expect me to do? be all sad & go and live on a mountain like a hermit?' & i was kinda laughing a lot, ngl. anyway, here's hoping the fellas who've proven we should trust them continue to blow our socks off. gimme that Thrawn HttE type stufff!! gimme a noghri calling Leia Lady Vader!!!!

Have you read up on the actual event when the temple was destroyed though. Kylo collapsed the hut on Luke. But he didn't kill the Jedi. When he exited the hut there was a red lightning storm forming over the temple and then a red lightning strike hit the temple and destroyed it and most of the Padawans except for 3 of them. It was Snoke/Palpatine that destroyed the temple. Then he left and was chased down by the three padawans and then they were killed. Research it and you'll see. They will not retcon. I really doubt it. I do believe that we will see the full revelation of the Asoka and Luke meeting in her show. I think all of these shows will do a lot of crossovers. The same way we got an episode of the Mandolorian that was all about Boba and one for Asoka. I think it's fine that we are getting the same in the Boba show and we will probably in the Asoka show too. Oh and did you notice that when Luke asked Grogu about "Home" several times, stressing the word, we didn't see his home planet in the flashback...only the Jedi Temple. To me that means the only Home he has ever known is the temple which means he may have been born there....meaning his PARENTS were there....Yoda and Yaddle??? Did this show just verify that he is their offspring? I wonder.

Okay, guys, not sure if you've seen the animated Star Wars show, Rebels, but there is something introduced in that series that may not really retcon the sequel trilogy......but hints at what Filoni and Favreau may do that creates......something else. Have to be somewhat vague but I don't want to ruin it for you now if you're not familiar with that series. Let's just say, if this crazy idea comes to fruition, it would please the fans who didn't like the sequel trilogy, but, at the same time, would not alienate the ones who really liked it. Oh, and apparently, the season finale next week is going to be absolutely bonkers. The internet might go down! Lol. Great video by the way. "the sequels never happened" 😂😂😂🤣 my sentiments exactly! The sequels are a bad dream Luke had, then woke & said 'it was only a dream' 😉 Things will come full circle when Boba & Luke team up; finally on the same side for the first time. When the galaxy finds out Madalorians & Jedi fought together NOBODY will challenge Boba. Could that be what the books all about? Boba bringing the Mandalorians & Jedi together? "they'll never see it coming" The Finale's gonna be siiiick!

New here, great reaction - if they really want to get them to remove what happened in the sequels why not just have it so that Luke force projected the Jedi's that Kylo murdered to make him think he killed them all. Just like Luke projected himself when Kylo was trying to kill him in the upgraded ATST. Meanwhile they were actually all somewhere else in hiding.

I truly regret that the sequels ever happened, but they did! I'm sure that Disney also wishes that they never made them, but they did! They are already out there festering like junk fish left out on a dock for several days in the blazing sun. They are the proverbial toothpaste that cannot put back in the tube. NOTHING PISSES ME OFF more than retconning. They've already retconned all the books, Mara Jade, the Skywalker children, all of that stuff has been expunged from canon. There are no mulligans in life, and there shouldn't be any in the Star Wars universe. Both Disney, and we fans just have to live with their lapses of judgement. Filoni and Favreau are on the right track, and should be encouraged to continue in their struggle to recover from Kathleen Kennedy et al. I think they can do it with out resorting to the dreaded retcon. At least I hope so. As did the gallant crew of the Rogue One, they've brought us hope.

Insider's tip; Disney is officially retconning the last 3 film's 7-8-9, so that means that Star Wars is now in Jon Favreau's hands which means that Kathleen Kennedy is officially gone and fired! So expect book's characters (Legends) ALL VIDEOGAMES characters and ALL CARTOON CHARACTERS to come to live action also people have already been fired and expect this form of story telling FOR ALL FUTURE STAR WARS TV SHOWS!!! Fyi look for the New/Old Star Wars book "*"*" Heart Of Gold "*"*" can no longer buy online for $6.99 but if you're A hard-core Star Wars fan this book is available at collectors prices but free PDF versions are available - book sales were stopped by Kathleen Kennedy stopped the sales because Disney didn't want a 90's book that was released just for reasonable price of $6.99 but she cried like a Star Wars Karen and made it a collectible and that book is also now officially canon!!!! Just fyi the Star Wars TV series is going to save the GL version and is trashing the KK film versions also on a side note Rian Jonson is officially fired and his Star Wars trilogy is now kindling for a dumpster fire on cold hard harsh night!
