Dear Stephen, you might want to know that a lot of us like to have rain sounds etc in the background so perhaps you could do options for every story , a duplicate, so we have the option. We love your stories but I only like the ones to go to sleep to with rain sounds or other similar, like train, car or bus, fans, ocean, hope that helps....

Hi Stephen, there’s a book store in Ashville, NC (been a few years, hope it’s still there) that would make a great addition to these stories. There is a cozy restaurant that serves snacks like smoked trout dip with cheese crackers, the best chocolate cake in the world, hot chocolate, ciders, coffee and wine. There are rooms upon rooms upon rooms with huge bookcases that create cozy individual spaces within the huge space. One “room” has a unique antique bed that you can sit in AND it is suspended from the ceiling. There are big over stuffed couches that people read and recline on. There are spaces for two and spaces where people gather to talk and drink wine. The BEST part of this bookstore with thousands of books is that well behaved pets are allowed! I took my baby, sat on a comfy couch and had a wonderful time. There is also the owner’s dog that welcomes people and makes the rounds. There’s a sweet cat that hangs out in one of the upstairs rooms that has an outdoor balcony with hammocks. I’ve seen lots of people napping here. Everyone wanders, finds a book or a story in the many paintings and artwork, and then come back together like pirates to share their booty with their companions. This sometimes results in taking someone off to show them something wonderful and unique. My baby boy Cody is a sweet West Highland Terrier and poodle mix who loves to cuddle with me at night. He loves the sounds of rain, a crackling fireplace AND your stories! Me too! I think people sleep best with the exact right pillows- made especially for them- and their perfect sweet furry cuddle baby. I can imagine as the staff picks up the wine glasses or small plates, that they could “tuck in” their overnight guests with one of the many throws that lay across the sofas, chairs, hammocks and beds. Sweet dreams.

I think this is my favourite story, it calms my anxiety and helps me relax. I found out I have thyroid cancer a year ago and just recently found out it spread to my neck it has caused me sleepless nights and stress, these stories are such a saving grace from the world and help me to disappear and relax thank you so much ❤

It's much better to be read to slowly like this. That way, I don't have to focus so hard on the story and can let my imagination unravel. It's wonderfully relaxing even if I don't drift off to sleep.

I just found this & I initially watched this just to calm myself down during an anxiety attack. Your voice is so soothing that I was able to chill.

I struggle really heavily with catastrophic thinking and it really has effected me and my daily life, especially when Im trying to sleep. On some nights Ive been lucky to get (a continuously interrupted) 4 hours of sleep. Then about 5 months ago I began listening to your stories. Your voice is so soothing and your reminder that I am safe along with your count downs of relaxing the body have made it so I can shut my brain off, listen to a beautifully read story, and get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. I can’t thank you enough for truly doing the necessary work of helping those of us who struggle with mental illness. As a young child, I would fall asleep to bedtime stories about fantasy realms, like The Hobbit. Never did stop finding bedtime stories more soothing than any other sleep sounds. Now, I fall asleep to bedtime stories told by a lovely gentleman with a voice like a kindly elven druid gathered round a campfire. I listen to a few sleep story/meditation channels, but I've probably shared yours the most. Thank you for your wonderful stories and your beautiful voice ❤ If you're ever looking for requests, I would love if you could do a story about dragons flying through the night sky, or similar. Fantasy books brought me up believing I could raise a cool rock into a baby dragon, and that even if it was just in my imagination, that didn't make it any less real or healing to me.

I have loved reading, starting in my early years at school. School was hard for me I was bullied and was happier out in the bush free ranging with my brother. During school breaks I would go straight to the library were bullies could give me a hard time because of the adults there I already had a great imagination so I thank my bullies now I became A very good reader and was asked to be a school Liberian thank you for taking me back there. Books took me places I would never go too.my children and grandchildren love books as well. Poetry was also a love of mine. 😊🦋❤️

Dear Stephen, just an observation, I much prefer your videos where the music does not get louder between the words. I find it disturbing. Maybe it’s just an automatic setting. I’m not sure.
