One of my all time favorite shows! I think this episode should have aired after the episode when the Brady brats gave Alice the cold shoulder for being a so-called squealer. Cousin Emma would have been sweet revenge to the spoiled Bradys! LOL!

The Bradys didn't seem to realize who was in charge. Also strange that Alice hugged the Bradys goodbye and hello, but never hugged her own cousin. They could've used over-the-shoulder shots with a double for that.

Also both Alice & Emma were Army Soldiers. Alice left but Emma was a Career Soldier. They realized just how much Alice spoiled them. Also Carol wasn't going to do for her Family what Alice did. I got the impression that this was their first time at calisthenics or some kind of exercise routine. They gave up too soon. Should of kept at it for a month - in that case, they would of been a top fit family! On that path..

I love it when Carol says "Are you kidding and face a court martial?" Lol. No Carol you, Mike, and the kids would get smoked and have to do extra pushups. How do I know this? I was in the Army and from early May up to the end of June 1995 I was in basic training at Fort Jackson and we had a screw up in the platoon and every time he fucked up we had to do extra pushups because of him and that's what happens when someone in the platoon messes up. Everyone pays because the drill sergeants are trying to say "You are all a team and don't get anywhere by yourselves!! There's no I in team here!!" and that is true because if you can't work as a team how are you going to survive in war and work on multi million dollar equipment?

They put up with Emma and lie about enjoying because they don't want to hurt Alice's feelings. Mike and Carol told the kids to pretend they're fine with it. Bad parenting. Parents are supposed to encourage their kids NOT to lie. I bet if Alice made something new that tasted awful, they'd tell the kids to say it's good so they won't hurt Alice's feelings. When Alice returned she said it's great that they enjoyed having Emma around because next time she goes on a vacation, they can just ask Emma to come back. The Brady's all had the expression like they were saying, "Oh no." That's what happens when you lie, you may end up having to put with the same nightmare again! They should've hurt Alice's feelings and say they hated Emma. I know they love Alice but do they have to love her so much to make themselves unhappy?
