The Buddy Baker Story tells how Buddy got his start in racing and details the early parts of his 1971 Grand National campaign while racing for Petty Enterprises. Buddy celebrating his first Grand National race win at the 1967 National 500 is also included.

Buddy is my favorite driver! I think he should have won a a lot more during his Nascar Career, the featured race Buddy won, (the 1971 Rebel 400) in this video don't tell you that he won by SEVEN LAPS! Buddy Baker was one of the NASCAR greats that just had more bad days than good days. but when he had a good day, boy did he really put out a good show! Buddy Baker and Panelli Jones were 2 drivers the could win it the equipment would hold up . Both of them were tough and equipment .

NASCAR needs to have a legend series now by saying that I mrun the newer chassis. But let's run the old sheet metal from the old dodgers Plymouth. Chevrolet Pontiac osmobil view It. They would sell out every race. That's when NASCAR was real NASCAR. I would love to see. A new series with the Modern day chassis for safifty, but the old sheep metal design. Anybody out there? Agree with me if you like that idea. Give me a thumbs up. If not well that's okay too everybody's entitled to their own opinion

When Winston Cup or NASCAR was worth watching, not now, at least I got to enjoy a good few years before left became more that just the direction on the race track.
