Life long Seahawks fan here, I don't know about Canales as a HC but he's excellent at developing & getting the most out of QBs as well as helping find & develop WRs (UDFA Doug Baldwin, 2 R pick Golden Tate, 2 R? Paul Richardson when healthy, big moments big play guy UDFA Jermaine Kearse, 3 R Tyler Lockett), he's worked in several O schemes for at least 2 yrs under Darrell Bevell, Brian Schottenhiemer & LAR based O scheme under Waldron (whom Canales prob should've gotten OC job over or at least replaced Waldron after 1st or 2nd yr here as OC once RW problem was gone. Canales was vastly under appreciated/unrecognized by Pete Carroll & Co as well as by many of the fans. While his meteoric rise the past 2-3 yrs kinda seems like it came outta nowhere, he's not only succeeded but done pretty darn well with every coaching opportunity he's earned. I hope he works out well for u Panthers folks, and that both our teams return to the levels of those Fox/Rivera lead Car & Holmgren/earlier Pete Carroll lead Sea teams, those reg season but especially the playoff matchups between Sea & Car had been some of the best games to watch. Not to rub any salt in any wounds, but I think it was a PO game around mid 2000s where Sea MLB Lofa Tatupu basically knocked all of Car dressed for game day RBs & FBs out of the game, splitting/breaking at least 2 of Car RB/FB helmets/facemasks is what got me to buy the 1 & only jersey for any player, team or sport I've ever had.

Definitely need a part 2! Nice work. Mike Williams didn't even make it to his visit, which was set to be today. Losing Brian Burns was huge, especially for the return we got. However, it did free up money to invest elsewhere, which we did, but we are still a way away from competing. We have a lot of needs, but it is coming together. I have nothing against Bryce Young, I like him. The O-line has massively improved exactly where we needed it to improve. Depth will help, as well as a Center, unless the coaches are positive in moving Guard Austin Corbett to Center, as previously reported. He won a super bowl with the Rams and was a 2nd round pick, yet hasn't been healthy for us. I will never understand that massive packaged trade to move up to get Bryce when it was well-known how good the 2024 QB class was going to be. Tepper was too involved and slowly DESTROYED the team since purchasing the Panthers (as well as tearing up the grass and installing turf, etc.). I am glad he is finally taking a step back.

Not sure why you’re referencing Chinn as a great safety. His lack of coverage skills is what led to his decreased opportunities on the field. Much more suited to be close to the line of scrimmage.

I’m confident we can replace Luvu’s and Burns’s pressure schematically. But some of the things they did based off talent alone will be the issue. Evero is a genius in his coverage schemes so if we can solidly our front 7 we can be an average defense until we are able to load up in the 2025 draft on that side of the ball. As long as Evero is here I’m not worried about our defense even though we currently lack a lot of depth and talent currently

@@x27off they are absolute studs and will definitely be missed. We were down half our defensive starters and Burns was injured majority of the season and still had a solid output from our defense despite the offense never being able to stay on the field. A top 10 defense with half your lineup out and one of your stars playing at 60-70% is all on the coaching. Luvu and Derrick Brown were monsters this year a lot of the credit stems from Evero’s scheme and discipline.

I really want the Panthers to be good again he's past 3 years have been a nightmare as a fan I miss the 2015 Carolina Panthers what happened to those guys the ones that went undefeated throughout most of the regular season and then shredded the playoffs to go to super bowl 50 I really need some kind of hoping last year was so depressing.

I agree with you on most things except what you said about Wonnum. It's not about Hunter getting all the sacks. With a good edge rusher the other side will actually get more sacks because the qb gets flushed to their side. Prime example Greg Hardy. The only reason he got sacks was because Charles Johnson would push QBs to his side. Let's hope this isn't the case this time.

I actually disagree with most of you said to start the video and almost discredits your football knowledge. Baker was far from a “major bust” before going to the Bucs. And having hunter on the other end across from you will actually make it easier for the other end since hunter will be drawing double teams leaving 1v1s for the others

Same. Wonnum isn’t a difference make and just a solid piece at best. Baker showed how dysfunctional Carolina was when he balled out in LA. He above average in Cleveland too. I wouldn’t discredit the guys knowledge though. Canales does have an impact on QB’s

Brian Burns IS NOT an amazing player, he has an amazing POTENTIAL but he gives up on too many plays to even be considered borderline great. If he stops being indecisive and lazy on the field he can become the best pass rusher in the league. I highly doubt he will do that though, he got unbelievably over paid so he no longer has any incentive.

Whoa whoa the worst quarterback in the league that's a bit much don't you think I'm sorry but you're going to have to work really hard to convince me that Bryce young is worse than Zach Wilson Tim Boyle Desmond Ritter there are so many more terrible quarterbacks and Bryce young he's only been in the league for a year you have to give the man at least 3 years Bill parcells says he gives anybody 3 years you can't call somebody a bust after just one damn year. This is ridiculous I really can't stand all the overreacting by NFL fans we need to give Bryce young a chance just like any other of these new quarterbacks guess what will Levis didn't have a very good season either I'm pretty sure if I checked the QB rankings Bryce young is nowhere near the 32 spot.
