6 year old girls or kids do not have sexual thoughts or behavior...unless someone has been messing with her...in order for her to behave this way...in my opinion, he has been playing with her for sometime!!

@@joleenspelbrink3265 You're correct. Hormones are what activate sex drive, lead to body maturation, etc. and that doesn't occur until puberty. For a child the idea of something "naughty" would be related to "bums" (literally) poop jokes, farts, etc. To look at something that was recently fairly covered in a diaper and think sex and especially with someone you supposedly love and want to protect? I just can't.

She was 6. This happened to me at 4 years old and lasted for a year and I’ll never forget the feeling of being touched this way. Now as an adult I’ll never feel right to being touched on my private areas. His child was playing but encouraged by him. But she may never forget the pain that he caused her body. Also , Why did his daughter not have her panties on ? It was his job as a father to teach her what is right not what is wrong. Parents do not teach children by showing them what’s wrong but teach them what is right. Therefore what is wrong will not seem normal behavior for the child. Then the parent can say “ We don’t do that, We do what is right “ That teaches the child the differences in acceptable and not acceptable behavior. His sickness as a deviate showed up and I don’t believe this was his first time playing naughty with his daughter.

It's the lawyers job to defend his defendant. He'd be a bad lawyer if he didn't and could get his license revoked if he didn't. The defendant deserves all the time he can get. But it's a fundamental right and achievement of western democracies that every defendant gets the best defense possible no matter how guilty or how heinous the crime. IIRC at some point that was Judge's Boyd job as well when she was a defense attorney.

I worked with children CPS had removed for abuse, and occasionally had children who acted out inappropriately- they had all been sexually abused. As another commenter said, you tell them stop, we don’t do that, it’s not appropriate. Period, full stop, the end.

There is a big sex offender program at a TDCJ prison. You all need to get familiar with federal law PREA which is the Prison Rape Elimination Act. Sex offenders are not randomly assigned to all different units to be preyed upon. Read PREA.

😔 😔 😡 😡, the lawyer is just as bad as he is, sounds like he needs to be investigated, he not about money. Wow I am praying for us all, it took me 55 years of my life to allow God to heal me from that kind of abuse, no child much less anybody should go threw that. I love Judge Boyd, I don't blame her for not accepting this sick guy plea of 15 years for what he did to his 5 year old daughter is horrible! He should never ever be around kids ever again.

This man’s lawyer is as despicable as he is! I can’t believe the lawyer was minimizing this crime which will impact this littlevgirl for the rest of her life. There is no excuse for what he did and him admitting to it does NOT make him less culpable nor does it make his actions less heinous or less traumatizing to the 6 yr old child! Both the lawyer and the criminal infuriate me. They should both be sent to a remote island where no one else will have to see or hear from them again!!

This man did this to his DAUGHTER??? What kind of a sick jerk is he? DO NOT blame a six year old! He and his attorney are making excuses. If he has been in this country since he was two, and never became a citizen, then he deserves to be deported and never allowed back in. How sick he is and his attorney is balking at an additional five years. So he admitted to the police what he did it. So what! He will always be a sex offender. I pray for the child and her mother.

Hands up anyone who is sorry for this sorry excuse for a man. Anyone have any issue with him having to loose everything? Having to face deportation to Mexico? Never seeing his children again? Nope? Thought so.
