It’s so much watching animals as they’re let out of their winter comfort into grazing pastures, they’re running, jumping, so happy. Kinda like kids let out for recess!

It's a real pleasure to see the cows and calves going out on fresh pasture in the spring. I did mine today on the second new pasture, last week was my first time. Pete and Hilary, Thank You both for bringing us along on the spring tradition of releasing the Cows and Heifers into the Spring , Summer Fall Pasture . I really like your idea of utilizing the 25 acres of grassland in 5 acre rotational sections . Which allows the pasture land some to rejuvenate itself. The important task is keeping the electric fence fully operational with frequent patrols.
