It’s a good job I didn’t have the video running while I was setting this lot up - the air was blue, mainly aimed at Bachmann for their stupid connections! 😂. Always good to see SR EMUs. A small point of detail - the first trailer in the CEP is the wrong way round, the toilets should be adjacent to the motor car, not to the other trailer.

Many thank for your kind comment Barry, I was hoping and praying that it would run smoothly with no derailments but I needn’t have worried, it all went nice and smooth - you know what happens as soon as the camera starts rolling! 😂😂. Monday will prove either positive with a confirmation of an eye operation or negative with nothing, I don’t even mind having to wait a couple of months if I know there is something to cure what I have - just in time for Spring! 👍🏻👍🏻. I really wasn’t sure in these early runs if it would just fall over. 😂. But all ok so I can rest in peace now and just enjoy seeing it run. I used to go on these when I was much, much younger and I can still remember the smell of them ! 😂. Cheers. ……….Graham

Looks a mighty train! Brought a class 419 over Christmas as I saw one at a very good price at my local model shop. Need to finish running it in but then will try it with my CEP. I run DC so simpler to set up but will the two motors run in sync!?

They were longer in reality, CEP BEP CEP TLV MLV that was the consist on most Boat trains. On the Victoria to Dover Western Docks services.
