In the traditional teachings the Holy People have their favorite. Their children. The five-fingered being. The humankind.
Everything was made for them. Everything shows gratitude to the Holy People. But it seems the creation that has the most difficult time showing gratitude is the Five-Fingered being.
In this video... Navajo Historian Wally Brown shares the traditional teachings around gratitude and the importance of it.

My mother, whom was Hispanic Apache/Navajo, used to say, "always gives thanks for everything in this life. Life itself is a gift and should be treated as such, same as the ground you walk on and the food you eat. Always be thankful for life itself is a rarity on this planet." Thanks Mom, I miss you.🥰🥰😥

Is life a rarity though...? Consciousness itself is infinite, and every life form ties into consciousness, and it's own universe. Reincarnation is a thing too, the Ouroboros. Death is said to be an illusion.

lies ahh lies..seldom in this planet your respect animals and plants! very very seldom,you are from egypt dude,,arabic and your treat animals like crap,,spanking and hammering the cow,before give the last blow,i ve seen on youtube..i get enraged,because i seldom eat ,maybe three times a week only and haven't die yet for not eating animals maybe i make chicken soup now and then,because i need,but thats is about it and i would never kill an animal,so that i will live,i rather would allow them to kill me and eat me

I understand to be thankful for things but is life really a gift? Some people are born horribly deformed and I've seen handicap people that don't even know they exist. If life is a gift it should be equal for everyone when there born.
@53adonis
@53adonis 8 ай бұрын
Many old masters teach that those who are suffering deformity or depravity or even those who are extremely bad are all there for us to respond to and we grow in that way. Apparently we human beings need to experience pain and suffering and loss etc. in order to experience growth toward the fullness that we will be one day.

@@chrisneves1274 Very well said... and very true. Life can be a living hell for some people... and it's not their fault that it is either, and that's the *effed* up thing about it.

I Love the way He speaks, He does not speck of us but the way of Life. I'm a Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ. But this man is special of God and His ancestors. The one thing I remember is when you hunt, and kill your game. Take the time to cut out the heart and bury it in the ground and then give thanks to our brother who gave his life, not by his choice but for the people. Bury His heart and say thanks for his sacrifice! The way of the Navajo Nation and others are true to their rights. Their way is the life blood of the way. What you Imagine is, and what you see is the repercussion of your mind! Be at peace and focus on Truth and peace.

Thank you for all your help! In prayer God showed me that He Loves us when we help Him. And I prayed, how can we who are so humble be of any help to You Who is so Great? And He showed me a Father who was fixing the plumbing of a sink and his young child stood by with a screwdriver waiting to give it to his Father when he told him. And the Father did not need for the child to help him but it was a great joy to him to have his small child with him and to teach the small child. And it was a great joy to the child to be near his Father to help him and participate.

I like listening to the Dine' language at the begining. The brain might not know what is being said, but energy is energy, so the spirit heard it just fine. And I like truth and honor in any language or culture, it's why I stop to listen to brother Wally. People become blinded to the infinite value of consciousness alone just by itself. But to be conscious with and of others as fractals of Creator, now that is a treasure. Peace n Love

Some get lost in the day to day activities and take for granted the things they have around them and lose the idea of what has value and what does not . Suddenly when those things are gone then the we realize what we had and did not take notice of it when we did have it . Some things will not always be and fall away but the things that are necessary for life , not a game boy or that big screen TV , are the things of value and giving thanks for those things daily and realize they are gifts keep the spirit whole and brighten the eyes. Respect for the ground and the trees and all the creatures that crawl on the earth , the place we call home , is most needed . Some are guiding this world into deeper and deeper peril but we do not have to be caught up in the steam it offers . I am not Navajo but I am Cherokee and the teachings of these things are the same throughout the nations . This elder who speaks in this video spreads the ideas that are needed for life . AHO WADO :O)

I know a person that can hear her ancestors. They told her that she came here once as a shoshone medicine person. She is here this time to help with the cleansing of the Earth. The Holy Spirit tells her that there are many true paths that lead to God...like spokes on a wheel that connect the outer to the inner.

Much love, years ago my father got a fever. He went into a spirit world. And recovered. He quit smoking and drinking. A few years later, I discovered a documentary. ( the peyote way. ) Doctors and scientists where trying to understand how addicted people. Stop being addicted. ( you will never find this documentary. ) the debate was , sweat lodge or both, the peyote was a factor to prevent brain failure.
