Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1/2 cup (120g) Milk
1/4 cup (55g) Vegetable oil
3 Tbsp (16g) Unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup (80g) Plain yogurt at room temperature
1/2 cup (100g) Brown or white sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 Large egg at room temperature
3/4 cup (90g) All-purpose flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
A pinch of Salt
For the Filling:
1 cup (150g) Semi-Sweet chocolate (50-60% of cocoa solids)*
1/2 cup (120g) Heavy Cream (bring to room temperature)
2/3 cup (150g) Cream Cheese at room temperature
1/4 cup (30g) Powdered sugar (icing sugar)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
*Note: For milk chocolate (25-30% cocoa solids), use only 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Otherwise, the filling will be too soft.
For the Frosting:
2/3 cup (100g) Semi-sweet chocolate
3 Tbsp (42g) Unsalted butter
1/4 cup (25g) Finely chopped walnuts (or any other nuts)
