Becket Cook was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Jesuit College Preparatory
School of Dallas. After graduating from college, Becket moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of writing and acting, finding success in both. He eventually went on to become a production designer working with the top photographers and directors in the world on fashion shoots for magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and for ad campaigns such as Gap, L'Oréal Paris, and Nike.
Finding a new sense of freedom in L.A., Becket also fully engaged in his new life as a gay man. He had a series of many relationships with men throughout the next fifteen years.
In September of 2009, Becket met a stranger at a coffee shop in Silver Lake who invited him to his church in Hollywood called Reality L.A. Becket reluctantly agreed to attend the service. After hearing the sermon that Sunday, Becket was utterly transformed by the gospel and gave his life to Christ. He also knew on that day when God revealed Himself to him that homosexuality was a sin and that he could no longer live that life. Becket was more than happy to count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus his Lord.
Becket spends much of his time in ministry speaking at churches, universities, and conferences helping believers (and non-believers) understand this issue biblically, theologically, culturally, and personally. Balancing grace and truth when teaching on this subject is of primary importance. His goal is to challenge the current cultural narrative about sexuality in general and homosexuality in particular by demonstrating through his personal testimony and biblical truths that, yes, homosexuality is still a sin, and that following Christ is infinitely more satisfying and joyous.
He has lived all over the world in major cities such as Rome, Vienna, and Tokyo.
Becket graduated from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Theology.

A few weeks ago the Supreme Court of my country, Panama, declared that marriage between man and woman is constitutional and the only one recognized. The legislative activism of foreign human rights organizations were pressuring to allow same sex marriage but the the justices voted no. It’s a temporary stop for now in defense of the traditional family. We are happily surprised and grateful.

It is in the Prophecy from Daniel Ch.11:37 in the Douay-Rheims Holy Bible; next closest KJV) It must be in Holy Scripture to be sure it is from God. Always check and go old, the modern bibles have been falsified and are even changing Jesus' commands. Thank you.

As a person who is in my sixties , and have led for many years an unhappy gay lifestyle i have to say it's all been so damaging. Not only the gay culture but how unfairly treated I was by heterosexual people too. Especially when I was young. How on earth was i to feel good about myself. Damaged goods that's how I have felt for many years. Today i have the good lord in my life, and i hand over to the lord when I'm feeling down. It's the only way, for peace of mind. I repented my sinful life of the past and no longer connect with other men. Without the lord i don't have anything.

So great to see Calvin Robinson on your show, Becket. I've been living in the UK for the past 12 years after experiencing spiritual abuse in a church in my home country. I never stopped believing in Jesus but I didn't want to have anything to do with church ever again. Outside of the church a lot of new age thoughts entered my faith over the years and only 1 month ago I was still fully affirming of gay relationships and was rooting for a change inside the church. I'm coming from a perspective of love, friendship and acceptance towards LGBTQ+ people. A few weeks ago however I had a road to Damascus kind of moment and I re-dedicated my life to Christ. With that came an unexpected shift in most of my woke ideologies. 2 days later the Archbishop of Canterbury announced these changes. I was so surprised to find myself utterly disappointed about this decision. I'm grateful for Calvin and his standing against cultural influences. The way he expresses his thoughts is so clear and firm yet loving and kind.

Reverend Calvin need all our prayers and support. He is a voice for this new generation. We need to stand for Jesus and His truth. All scriptures are God inspired. Many are preaching half truth or mere human opinions to satisfied their own desires. Following the ways of the world and not the path of God. For speaking the truth we will suffered persecution. But I rather suffered for what is good and just than to live in disobedience towards my Father in heaven! Amen! It would be good if he were to condemn the sexual abuse of his fellow clergy. You will no doubt recall the then Prince Charles personal religious confident - Bishop Peter Ball - was a serial child molester! He made boys strip naked and hug in the name of the Lord. And then moving on the mutual sexual gratification, because this is what God is calling them to do! So Calvin and his gang find such child abuse perfectly acceptable within there own private club, but thought of “blessing” the union of a same sex couple is an abomination - what a hypocrite! As Jesus said - no one likes a hypocrite - except it seems - the Christian establishment!

Well done, well spoken, and thank you for speaking out! The Church has caught on to several of the benefits or purposes of marriage, which they put into the catechism, but could they include teaching on what benefits marriage and sex give to the married couple themselves, as it would be sad and mistaken to think that marriage and sex within marriage is only useful for procreation... What about couples who can't have children, or who think they should only have sex if they want to have children? In some cultures, married women who can't have children are made to feel that they aren't serving their purpose, and deserve to be divorced from their husbands. I don't mean to create a side-issue here... but actually, when we take a stand for heterosexual marriage, we need to address it fully. It is a big argument for heterosexual marriage, anyway, that, in a healthy marriage-relationship and mindset, sex is affirming a woman in her womanhood, and a man in his manhood. The individuals are seeing themselves as the women God made them to be, and the men that God made them to be. Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent to think that God had made them less than perfect, so they had to eat the forbidden fruit, in order to try to make themselves be good enough. But God had already made them so they were perfect.

For example, if someone has an inherited genetic disorder it would be unethical to have a child who 100% would inherit that disorder but that person should be 'allowed' to marry, of course! They might not want to live alone, fall in love and live married. Also, controversy here......, I do feel very strongly that women should be able to minister. Women in my church preach and are in the leadership team. Gafcon are against this.

@@chrisklaus9765 A husband and wife can have sex with the hope of being blessed with children many many couples have adopted and then fallen pregnant, stress had a huge impact on reproductive health. Sex itself has been hyper sexualised, sex is sold but sex also sells. It's highly addictive and a source of stress which people relieve by having sex! Analogy: The coca leaf which (like Yemeni kat) is pleasing to chew, allows a normal person work longer, on less food. Then it was 1st "refined" to give a instant high/crash, cocaine, and then further "refined, and caused temporary psychosis, crack. We don't have straightforward sex, hypersex is now normative, one of the oxic refining "chemicals" of sex that it is, transgressions as a fetish, another is neophilia, another is fantasy/porn and so on. Sex as a commodity is the Bible's sodomy. Healthy people used to have less sex and to enjoy it more.

Something as mundane as women's football is a quite different game from men's, so how is women's ministry different from mens so far? Caveat here: 100% of women ministers l've met/ heard about, have been homosexual, if this is not a skewed small sample, why particularly are lesbian's attracted to such a double bound, for them, high status role, that carried out currently means constant dissembling? (I am interested in complex moral problems).

Not in danger of, it already is. I rent a rectory house & now have to leave (which is fine, it was a known, known at the outset), so the new gay & practicing C of E vicar & his gay partner can move in & run two local parishes. I was shocked to say the least, but apparently this is the second practicing gay C of E vicar this parish will have had in the last 8 years. The parishioners don't get much of a say in the matter. Very sad. Our Lord must be saddened (but not surprised of course) to see this.

I can attest that the Anglican Church in Australia is following the same path as Britain. I grew up Anglican (baptised, communed, confirmed) and it was very traditional and almost Catholic in its rituals etc. I was agnostic in my 20’s and joined a group of mediums who held sessions at the local Anglican hall in my 30’s where we channeled spirits and performed necromancy. Eventually I started to question my worldview and that’s when God came in and delivered me. Because it was familiar territory I tried going back to the Anglican Church and found a pink haired lady as the vicar with a gay couple arranging the flowers and members of the choir organising a moon festival called “lady of the night” I was like “I’m out y’all” It was bonkers. Welcoming sinners is an important function of the church. What they were into didn’t even resemble Christianity.

Now I can understand if he would call himself a pastor or priest, that is OK because in every congregation there has to be a leader but calling yourself a father is too prideful. Like I am clearly older than Calvin and for me to call him a father is just nonsense.

Thank you so much for having Fr Calvin on your show! I’m in the UK and have watched Calvin in a number of videos, especially GB News where he’s a presenter. More recently, he took part in a protest outside a London pub that was promoting drag queen story-time to children. He was again in the minority amongst a crowd of liberal activists who were hurling insults and threats at him. I feel inspired by his courage to take on the armour of God and I pray that he will continue to gain support from people across the globe to help him keep fighting. Thank you too for your ministry which has helped me gain better understanding and knowledge of God’s word. Stay blessed brother 🙏🏻

God blessed that speech. It was SO heartening and inspiring. Calvin Robinson became one of my true heroes during that speech. It felt like, "FINALLY, a voice of conviction, righteousness in the midst of the filth and madness" [from this wave of rebellion that's been increasing with each generation.] It was a holy flame which ignited hearts around the world. To realize that he really didn't imagine how it would be received...! I'm just grateful...God is just so brilliant, so pure...He is truly so worthy of our praise.

I have just discovered Calvin Robinson at his recent talk at the Oxford Union. AS a Christian myself from England, now living overseas, I am glad the world has such a truthful, eloquent and God fearing man. A true defender of the faith. He recognizes that the church by nature is counter cultural - the 'salt and light of the world.' He is able to both affirm the sinner in their struggle whilst leading them to repentance and Christ. I watched the video of Rev. Calvin a week ago and I was taken back. He clearly explained in 12 minutes why the Word of God matters more than our words and feelings. Calvin’s speech in Oxford was amazing, truth on truth, not offensive, not homophobic, not disrespectful in anyway towards the LGBTI+ community, it was just truth, scripture the bible, Calvin is deeply intelligent in his faith and theology and I whole heartedly thank him for his honesty and strength we need more people like him in our church to lead by example to teach the masses the truth of the bible and Lord Jesus Christ salvation. This "blessing" of same-sex couples reminds me of Mark 10:4-5 Where Jesus speaks on divorce and the reason why Moses permitted divorce. The Church of England's heart has been hardened and they love the world and sin more than they do God. Men appeasing people as opposed to loving and obeying God. Thank you Brother Calvin for your stance and for staying the course, upholding biblical and Godly principles and precepts. This interview was so informative. Calvin explained the doctrine of the Anglican Church , succinctly. What a dilemma the church faces but God has principles and boundaries that we must abide by. Repentance is the key. Repent and sin no more! That message has not been preached for a long time in this institution?

Calvin seems like a humble yet dutiful man, concerned with obeying and living by the way ordained in the holy scripture. Both traits are an inseparable combo that the Lord wants from us, God bless him and that he may be given the spiritual strength to fight the good fight.

Thank you for this wonderful talk, both! Father Calvin Robinson, I was so sorry to hear your experience was so difficult when you gave that speech. Your speech was so refreshing and the Holy Spirit gave you grace because there was a confidence and boldness throughout and you did not show fear not once. No compromise. I love all my friends and family even if they was rebellious lives as Christ died for them too but to bless their rebellion is to turn against our Saviour. ‘If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.’ Mark 9:42 Say no more! You were right not to compromise, God bless and keep you!

Great interview and amazing speech he gave! He was surrounded by wolves but spoke the truth with such boldness. It's been very disappointing to see the direction the C of E has gone, and I'm thankful for those in global Anglicanism who remain faithful to sound doctrine. On another note, I would like to ask for prayer. I will be meeting my daughter's same sex partner for the first time this weekend. Pray that we would have opportunities to speak the truth in love and that the blinders would be removed from their eyes. It has been such a painful road.

God who is not an author of confusion will open your daughter’s eyes. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Dont stop praying for her and dont cast her out, remember Jesus’ example to the sinners. Pray that God’s word will be real to her and not the falsities of this world

Thank you so much for this interview with Father Calvin a conservative Biblical Anglican Deacon. As a former Episcopalian and ally of the LGBTQ community I at one time felt honored to meet Bishop Gene Robinson. Obviously my heart has changed and I appreciate Fr Calvin's ability to tell the truth in love rather than trying to redefine love.

@Joe Bach Verses 8-10 also says don't call anyone on earth Father which l assume means your biological Father, nor a Rabbi or instructor. This than should include the title Priest, Rev, Pastor, disciple and apostle. I do believe there great responsibility as a shepherd of a flock and if one takes on that huge role there should be a title given if they are a wise and learnade leader. We just need to remember that that they have a greater accountability directly to God and need to live up to that role.
