I never had reparative therapy and neither was i pressurised to get therapy to make me straight. I have since left lesbianism behind, saved for thirty-two years this September, praise God.

My great-grandmother was a medium. She and her husband bought my grandmother a Ouija board. A little girl down the street invited my grandmother to a United Method Sunday School where she gave her life to Jesus. Anyway, the Ouija Board spelled out, "Iva must not do this." And then again. She never played again. So thankful for grace!

I can relate to the attacks from Satan, a few weeks after I was saved I had a demonic spirit speak into my head aloud when I was reading my bible, speaking lies. I was so green I didn't even know to say in the name of Jesus leave me alone, I just held my head screaming stop, stop it. I was under spiritual attack because if Satan can't keep you out of the kingdom then he's going to do things to stop you from following the Lord. This incident led to a terrible spiritual battle to where I felt like I was hanging off a thousand foot cliff by my finger nails but the Lord brought me through it. The battle is real, for we do not battle with flesh and blood but powers of darkness! Blessings to the both of you!

So glad someone is speaking up about this topic. I have heard her speak on other platforms and I appreciate her bravery and honesty. Johanna michaelsen was writing about this in the late 80s and her experience is very similar. My own mother talked about these things when I was a kid and I'm glad she did, or else I would have never known, plus I was very drawn to it and probably would have went down similar paths. I see so much occult becoming mainstream- book stores and toy stores are full of it. Especially targeted at kids. Then we wonder why kids are suffering from so many mental issues and depression/anxiety. It's not to be scared of it, it's about confronting it for what it is and clearing it out.

People are doing so much harm to their own children with the occult. If your parents are into the New Age, if you have a mother who reads cards, you were probably already demonically oppressed before even doing anything New Agey yourself. New Agers think being psychic is a "gift" that gets passed on through the generations, all that's happening is that their kids are becoming demonically oppressed because of all the occult stuff their parents are doing.

There is an impassable barrier between the realms of the dead/spirit and the physical realm. Any messages you are getting are not from angels or guides or loved ones. It is all demonic. Don't interpret dreams, don't read cards, don't attempt to get any psychic messages, you are opening yourself up to a lot of evil stuff. Surrounding yourself with light, saying a prayer, none of this is going to protect you when your intent is to communicate with spirits. The action itself is a sin. Saying a prayer while doing something sinful is not going to negate the sin. If you have already opened yourself up to the demonic its going to be very difficult to close that door. Throw out all your new age stuff, if you have have the funds throw everything out and move to a new apartment and start from scratch. Surround yourself with crosses and religious imagery, Mother Mary is particularly good in cases of oppression (ask the Catholics). I was having seizures at one point, the only thing that worked to stop them was the Hail Mary. The more you can keep your focus on God and our Mother, the more your life is about your relationship with the Divine, whether its reading scripture, listening to bible commentary, writing/drawing/composing religious inspired material, the more your day is made up of these things, there less room the demonic has to insert itself, the more difficult it becomes for the demonic to influence you.

However the devil sees that gift and corrupts it hence the gift remains in us until we surrender it by accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Key point: information you receive, it's based on your LAST not your future and your family history which the devil can manipulate to guess & induce patterns in your life.. that you accept as truth. The Bible also shows that Jesus is the one who knows our every weakness. The devil is very calculating and can guess your weaknesses. Do not be deceived hypersonic stuff

Wonderful! I was raised in the new age lie I as well, I had 3 spirit guides and one of the said he was jesus. The voices and noise in my head were constant. at the age of 9, after telling my 1st guide that I wanted my mother dead, I woke up the next morning and found her body in bed. The last time I attended a yoga class was 5 years ago. The class started with the group singing a Hindu worship song. Been watching Becket for a bit now, he is great, and the thing he is talking about is so important: when a person is born again, they don't need to go to the flesh in moments of pain or frustration/tension, because God's spirit lives in them. Even on this Earth, what a priveladge? God himself empowers us to get through difficulties. And then when the person dies, they go to heaven. Why wouldn't someone just do whatever it takes to make this happen?

I highly recommend the book and study series called "Hearing God through Your Dreams" by Mark Virkler and Charity Virkler Kayembe. I first took the study with a women's group at my church six years ago. I have been able to hear from the Lord at night and get direction from Him. He is so loving and encouraging!
