The missionaries found me and my life was forever changed because of their spirit-filled gospel teaching. Just as the gospel miraculously altered the direction my life, it is also altering the direction of the lives of its faithful members. As the world becomes more estranged from God, our children are growing up prepared to serve. This is wonderful fruit!

I served a mission from 2019-2021 and I am forever grateful for the experiences and knowledge i gained from my full time service. If I were asked today to drop everything and go do it over again, id do it in a hearbeat. I saw and experienced so many miracles that i thought only happened in the bible. If you are debating on serving a mission, do everything you can to prepare yourself, and go give it a shot. The Lord will strengthen you in ways you never thought of.

When our oldest son went on his mission, my husband said, “He went away a boy and came back a man.” Three of his brothers have also served missions, and all say what a great impact it has been on their lives. Missionaries not only bless the lives of those they teach and serve, but also gain such wisdom and growth that they wouldn’t otherwise have had.

The feelings I had while serving as missionary cannot be traded for anything. If there's any young man or woman who needs understanding, who needs to figure out what the Lord has for him or her, go on a mission. You'll never regret it. Missionaries changed my path in life. I still struggle with church doctrine but I admit I have been clean and sober for nearly 2 years. The Holy Spirit does work with them even if their personal knowledge is lacking. If the sisters did not continue to be persistent I wouldn’t have been baptized. While some of the doctrinal beliefs are radical in nature to me I joined the organization due to supernatural experiences. Something is going on here that I cannot define in words. I appreciate the missionaries sacrifice and dedication for those that they do not know. I knew the first time I read the prophets words that he was telling me what a loving parent wants their children to know. The elder missionary that baptized me had either an angel or the Holy Spirit with him on several occasions. I believe that this influenced my baptism choice as this never happened before. They are special individuals and I appreciate them all. I am a member for a year now as of September.

@Famr4evr9 ай бұрын
@@relaxingnature6766 It is called the gospel of Jesus Christ because the Atonement of Jesus Christ is central to this plan. According to His plan, our Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to show us how to live meaningful and happy lives and experience eternal joy after this life. Through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, you can become clean from sin and enjoy peace of conscience. You can become worthy to live in Heavenly Father’s presence after this life.

The young people in the Church now, as they always have, find themselves needing to make the hard decision to believe; to make the hard decision to put interest in others over self-interest. They don't all step up to these hard decisions, but it's inspiring to see how many do. I have seen first-hand the dedication of parents and other adult influences in helping young people navigate on the path of faith in a world where the pressure to leave it is so intense. We really are all in this together, with the common goal of witnessing of God and caring for our neighbors all over the world. As the building of God's kingdom goes, the future is very, very bright.

The Sacrament Prayers contain the words to "Bless and Sanctify". I am in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and compared the appearance and countenance of people walking on the street last Sunday, as if it was any other day of the week, with the members gathered in the chapel, and the words of the prayer were reflected in their images and lives! Then the opening hymn, "I KNOW that my Redeemer lives...what comfort this sweet sentence gives!" And how do we KNOW? Because of the experience and witness of Joseph Smith...1,800 years more recent and compelling than the awareness and knowledge of others! 🫡👏🤗🥰🙏👍
