Megagoth and I randomly tried out a Co-op server, and what we discovered was that it was the closest thing to classic Arma Capture The Island you can experience in Reforger right now.

The grenadier rig was infact disallowed from combining with the ballistic vests due to clipping issues. The main reason for them is due to the vest like shape of the grenadier rig makes it extremely difficult to combine with the ballistic vests without clipping and other weird visual issues. If the tech that would allow for seamless combining of these clothing parts would ever arrive this restriction would be lifted.

They added an ai for that. Session skate sim uses it for board foot clipping

Pvp is definitely fun, but man, I’ve been REALLY enjoying some of the pve conflict and combat ops servers, just a couple good teammates with comms and I could play for days, can’t wait for them to polish up the servers and latency so we have an infinitely customizable pve experience. Big things to come for this series

Really hope they’ll add AI as recruitable teammates as well for players who don’t wanna do multiplayer and just have a fun single player experience in conflict or something, Like how they did with the recent WW2 dlc for arma 3

@@SirIronbeard that would be really cool because I love doing the arma combat ops, especially with the new helicopters, but don’t have many friends to play with :p so it’s hard doing the missions by myself without dying every few minutes :p, so AI teammates that would follow me would be much appreciated

I so desire DCS and Arma 4 to be all in one. To play it, it would have to be a 10k priced rig alone though most likely with actual advertised fiber connection.

meanwhile there's no mention of fixed wing aircrafts in the roadmap 😢 well jets arent really something BI is good at, the flight model in a3 was too uncanny, they faked the realism and it was really weird. hopefully they incorporate a decent flight model which can probably be improved with mods

THIS server is so fun The fact I can liberate a quarter of the map, go to work for 8h and come back at night and finish the game with a handfull of night howls, it’s sooo fun I wish more servers did this, PvP isn’t that enjoyable, especially if you factor the new ai coming, these modes will thrive soon

@@Bond.JamesBond00 I play since Operation Flashpoint, ARMA , ARMA 2, ARMA 3. This is not classic CTI at all. It's some dumbed down version. But i do have to say Reforger looks beautiful and seems to play very good. I like the direction they are taking.

@@Colossus01 I got the same feeling man. I'm glad it's not only me. But thats just reforger in general. It is really dragging me in. But i want to wait for Arma 4. Otherwise i'll be burned out before that releases.
