Had a mk8 st for nearly 3 years it’s fantastic, always liked the mk5 st as well especially in white with blue stripes

Every single Fiesta in the video is either still on the road or on SORN, that’s a good testament to these brilliant cars.

Even the oldest one is only a 57 plate. A car working after 15 years isn't particular cause for incredulity, especially considering that these were likely part of Ford's press fleet for the first few years so mechanical and aesthetic maintenance would have been prioritised.

@@mattiegallagher1326 true, but remember these are the sportier models which could well have easily been stolen or crashed by younger drivers who would have bought them.

@@scrapyardwarriorvlogging I guess so mate. I'm only jealous as I'm looking these cars through the eyes of a guy who sold his 1988 Fiesta mk2 1.1 Ghia when he was 18. £425 I paid for that car. 50k miles. Now it'd have been worth thousands!

We've got a fiesta ST150 and it's a fantastic little car, great handling, gearchange and responsive engine. They're currently available for as little as £2000. Pick one up whilst they're Still cheap......

My favourite 3 Fiestas....mk1 SuperSport, a basic model mk5 with a 1.2 and a much more recent 1.0 ecoboost. Would still love a go in a RS Turbo though.

Mk1 xr2 is the car I miss the most.was better than the mk2 in every way.

Having driven both the Escort Cosworth & the 1.6L version of the ST I still prefer the Escort as the Icon of fast Ford's the Fiesta was a lot of fun. It's mad to think that my Mini JCW hatch had more power than that Icon and as a package it was miles better with all the mod cons like H & K Stereo, sun roof, sports seats, & sat nav but that Escort is still No. 1 for me.

My dad owns the 1999 Fiesta techno MK4 Also the Ford Fiesta (2008) didnt only sell in China but also in other parts of asia (Thailand, Indonesia,etc)

Why never use the same tires, tires are way faster and faster every 3 to 5 years, all the time for the Fiesta the tires can do that!! Boring and wrong test
