I love my OSS. An outstanding bargain. Took me a while to get used to the sub hilt but now I think they’re great. I understand your questions over the rubber guards but people use these knives all the time to kill pigs and theres a video of a guy killing a buffalo with one as well as demo videos of people stabbing into stumps and cars and all kinds of stuff. The guards work.
